Wonder what the chances we will see the smartwatch 4 in the fall with a round screen?

A smartwatch passed FCC less than a month ago.

SW4? Maybe.

Round screen I'm going to guess no.

I thought that was a smart band? http://www.unlockpwd.com/sony[....]2-swr12-and-smarteyeglass-fcc/

A new smartwatch wouldn't be due until the fall.

I wonder how accurate heart rate monitor will be in the next smartband when doing exercise in comparison to a simple polar heart rate monitor watch with body strap. i started to do jogging every day and i need one. i think i'm going to wait a bit after mwc to see what reviewers say.
btw, after watching and reading lg g flex 2 reviews we all should be glad sony is delaying z4 as they all complain about overheating, lagging and short battery life and it doesn't even have qhd display. that is if sony will have s810 with improved performance for z4.

Says the release date of the product is 20 march 2015. Screen protector for Z4 Ultra. Fool's hope.

Since we hadn't had any leaks or rumors about an Ultra successor I wouldn't be too optimistic about that date. But nevertheless it would make sense showing first the Ultra at MWC (No phablets from major competitors) and afterwards sometime in April the Z4. Although I'm a die-hard pessimist I hope to see Sony announcing all members of the Z4 family (Z4, Ultra, Compact) shortly after MWC.

Sony should have bridge gap model with Mediatek chipset while awaiting next Snapdragon flagship, it seem they don't wish to move against Qualcomm in upper tier.

Seeing HTC to steal limelight of using latest 64bit Mediatek chipset with OneM9 Plus that (probably) capable of record Full HD 480fps video with the 20.7MP camera is really itching my nerve (480fps project was kinda co-developed between Mediatek and Sony sensor camera, can't remember exactly).

I heard so many times that Sony plan to reduces risk but still flood market with uncompetitive models, recently E4 is example use Mediatek chipset from 12 months ++ back, while other makers shipping with latest Snapdragon 410 at their lower portfolio. The rumor pointing out that Sony going to release two devices for E2000 series, I don't feel right about this.

And Korean rumors say LG will release G4 sometime in April, such not a very good news for Xperia-fellow.

One of the rumors that we've all been asking is about to be answered in the next few days or so. What will Sony's UI look like on Lollipop, with less than a week till the first of March the long wait will finally be over. Sony have kind of given us clues as to what to expect, they have all ready updated their own app icons with the material design and also the nav keys will change to stock Lollipop rather than the current nav icons we have at the minute.
I'm so happy 'cause today
I've found my friends ...

Along with these screenshots according to digi-wo the rest of the source info is:
dual sim version
two versions 1080p/2k
two versions s805/s810
3gb ram
magnetic port is cancelled
new exposed usb port is ip68 rated
mid-year shipping time

not really new info but another confirmation for old one.
2 things i don't get:
1. why s805 version in 2015?
2. why not 4gb ram? this device will battle also 2h 2015 flags that will pack 4gb of ram.
sony is not likely to stick to 2 main flags per year when z4 will be shipping mid year.

If true, those UI shots look quite nice.
Hopefully that part about s805 powering 1080p version is false.
Even HTC is planning on releasing FullHD One M9 powered by s810 along with 2k version running octa-core mediatek SoC.

2K / SD810 potentially introduce as device per carrier(s) requested.
if introduce together with SD805 it will another disaster move.
as sub-flagship tier Mediatek 64bit Octa-core is better choice.

@supercoolman
If the screens are from the same device (looks likely judging by the time on the clock), then this is the dual-sim variant and it is using the S810. The settings item 'Dual Sim settings' is the give away.
