Wow....seems like X10 Mini and Pro will be under or around £250. Never expected that in a million years! That could make the phones absolutely huge successes. Imagine if they make the same spec phone with a 3.2 inch screen and slimmer body at a similar price? Copy and paste the Vivaz and put Android in it perhaps?

HTC at CTIA hopefully with more Androids, possibly a qwerty one. Nokia and Samsung were light at MWC so they're cooking up a PeterKay type storm as well but not sure when. We are going to see a lot of action around May/June from everyone.

On personal news, I have ordered a HTC Legend over the Vivaz. Sitting next to each other, you realise that Symbian is sluggish and the Google App store fills in the gaps that I need filling. Internet is much better on Android and generally, the basic tasks are much simpler on the HTC. Honestly, I had to spend much time looking for certain apps that I need and luckily they are available for me. Vivaz has a great camera and can focus on new targets during video, something that Satio's big sis will be getting among other things. Symbian has killed the deal for me probably. Also worth noting is that the old HTC Hero set a Neocore benchmark of 26+ while the X10 does 28+ with twice the processing power which means that the Legend can't be bad.

Also, I got a sniff but it could be way, way off but a high end camera phone on Android. That may mean Satio's sis on Android with all the goodness of Vivaz as well as X10's face recognition software. Imagine that but only imagine until somebody reputable backs me up.

Why EDGE when 3G almost the standard now? Doesn't sound very high end at all to me.

In China 3G signal is non-existent and EDGE is far more common. I would guess in Taiwan it's not much different. So if you're releasing a handset in Taiwan why pack in a feature that no-one can use?

Id probably buy it. Ive pretty much come to the conclusion that the days on dumbphone cameraphones are pretty much over. Taking the plunge into the touchscreen arena is something I have been long avoiding, but if Andriods on board with high end imaging, im willing to compromise. (Andriod > WM > Symbian for me)

To bad its only a big maybe on the validity of the rumor. But thanks again Badassmam for keeping us up to date on whats going on.

hi end android camera, I'd buy too, depending on how the X10 washes. If SE announce something truly like this before I can get my hands on the White X10 UK version then I'll be waiting for that and I'll have to cope with Aino + C905 until it arrives.

Symbian is the main reason I didn't get Satio.

Entirely agree. My brother is getting an X10 so I'll see what that's like, then I'll plunge if this rumour turns into reality.

I doubt there will be a high end android camphone for atleast a year, isn't x10 suppose to be their android flagship this year? Maybe the follower to x10 who knows. I think SE will use symbian for camphones for a while. Hoping for satio 2 to be announced soon.

Sony Ericsson isn't listed under the exhibitor list but Ericsson is. So they might not.
