I've been looking for a dock too.
I've got the one that Nanu showed, its not powered but does increase the sound output of the iphone by 10db. For me the quality and loudness is just not good enough so its gathering dust in my drawer

Can anyone else confirm this......
When playing music back through the phone speakers if I put my finger over the left grill at the bottom it quietens the sound, whereas if I do the same for the one on the right nothing happens, or am I being daft and the right grill is the microphone?
@Masseur I'll send you a SAE if that dock is just gathering dust.....

yes, the left is speaker, the right is microphone
no need for SAE, just PM your address

Yeah those griffin air thingies aren't the best! I tried one in the o2 shop the other day... Hmmm... So do I bite the bullet and get the jbl one from Argos?

I bought myself a vestalife Ladybug II speaker dock today. iPhone compatible and everything only £39.99 in store in HMV's sale. Play are selling them for £69.99. Pretty happy with it so far!

Guys I want to add contact persons pic with the contact list. But I'm not sure whice resulation size will be best for that. Do u have any idea? |

The iPhone resizes all photos that are loaded on to it to a much smaller size than they would be on your pc, you then have the option to crop them on your iPhone as you select the pic for a contact pic. No need to resize before loading the pic on to your phone. Hope that helps.
Can anyone recommend a good iPhone forum? I'm not interested in Jailbreaking, just would like a site/forum with info on the iPhone, app reviews, os update info and the like.

http://www.tuaw.com is pretty good, has app reviews etc, but its more of an all things Apple site than just iPhone related.

I am now in receipt of said item and I must say I am a little disappointed, I cannot believe you cleaned the dust off it, as it was the dust I was most interested in to add to the rest on my desk.
However upon reflection I am very happy with the dock itself and I am very grateful.

I dont think those lil iPod docks sound v.good! I spent £169.99 on a Panasonic mini hifi with dab, and cd and ipod dock sounds amazing with my iPod touch!

Hi everyone!
a young friend is interested in the iPhone, and she leaves England in June and comes back in August.
I think new iPhone models are released in June? I do not think though, she can use easily in Japan with a Japanese sim, and roaming has become expensive for Japan again.
I guess my best advice is - wait till she returns in August, and rent a phone from Narita Airport, or borrow a phone!
Not sure what improves are expected over the current best iPhone. Double the memory and.....?
