@mriley,
thanks for the tip man, i've tried it, and it works... hehehe...
i'd say by using this method, C901 can beat 'led flash phone is the best for macro' myth.

i can assure that, because i'm using C702..

proceed to C901 pictures thread to see examples by me.

(i'm still resizing the images right now at this moment)

yeah, thats right gedas, with lower ISO and exposure time of 2 seconds we could have much better quality

ill post some more tips later on, how to avoid camera shake and things like that

off topic

but would it be possible to achieve such quality in night shots with c901? look at EXIF of this pic taken with i-mobile 902
http://www.esato.com/phonepho[....]make=samart&model=i-mobile+902
the details are almost same as c901 but look at the ISO. it's set to 50 and i believe that this results in great quality..or am i wrong?

yes you are very right, low ISO means good quality... lower ISO the higher quality BUT the lower the ISO the less light the sensor picks up. So we need to increase the shutter speed/exposure so it can take in more light as it has more time to take the light in. Its finding a balance between ISO and shutter speed that gives best results

and its not off-topic, we should be talking about this as it's describing and improving the camera on the C901

it didn't great at focusing with the original camera driver but you can have great detail with the manual driver, but one thing i have noticed is that after you have taken your photo, you see the photo for a second, then the photo almost "shrinks itself" and it looks better before "shrinking" is this compression or what? have you experienced this too?

Yes i get that on the c902 when viewing photos on the screen. They look clear then compression kicks in making seem more blurred. Looks better on pc
