looks a pretty decent phone. it surely is diff since it does not have the regular soft keys.
i hope the buttons arent too small to use.
the networks it supports is really good job done by se. also i read that led's have been put in though i couldnt spot them that would be really great.
i think im quite happy with my 3.2 mp k790i. images taken are quite decent. then there's no limit to the resolution. i would prefer to use a digicam.
i hope they have improved the video resolution in this one. is it really 30 fps as sumbody mentioned earlier? and does it use mp4? |

Yes it can capture in 30fps but the clip that was posted a while ago was actually 15fps. Look at the exif data.
I think like the disable AF in that proto model they must have disabled 30fps aswell. |

Just out of curosity. Did SE really confirmed (i.e. in an official released spec) that it has QVGA at 30fps? |

Does anybody know if the "GPS Enabler HGE-100" geotag the pictures?
And maby do it automatically after taking the picture? That would have been nice!
That would make this a lot easilyer:
flickr geotagging
Does anybody know anything about this?

Even with that clip at 15fps the quality between rival phones is very visible. You can see in MRs Z8 review that the max res on the video for that phone is also only 15fps (final version will have 30fps) but it looks really shabby compared to the clip we saw of the K850.

Let's hope when it is 30fps, they do not decrease the bitrate (a trade-off).
W900 video at 30fps has the bitrate/audio sacrificed. When compared to normal N-series mpeg CIF@15fps, the W900 video/audio is of worse quality. |

Probably because everybody got bored with k850 before it was even released
But seriously probably everyone are waiting for some good review with great pics of the phone and made with the phone and right now they have no more complaints(till the review when they will find new issues to complain about).

I have more questions
Will the charger from k750i work on the k850i?
Will they have the same conector? Will it be able to flash it with the "k750i" cable? |

@bespatter
the connector is the same as k750i. so the usb and charger should work. though i dont see why that matters as you will get both of them in the k850 sales package

There seems to be a 30fps test on youtube. Not sure if it's real.
