Yes, it's data only, it's the BB Unlimited stand alone tariff.
I had a look at what Orange and T-Mobile could do actually, and even went in and asked them, and it was pitiful, even on Business.

Is it the pearl 8120 you've got? I'm finding the battery life on mine fantastic, its reading fully charged in about 50mins and then seems to last about 4 days with moderate usage. Never really took much notice of BB's in the past but I'm delighted with this one. |

It's not to staff, but it IS only if you can confirm your a sole trader (hell, make it up and say you sell buckets for a living!), partnership, LTD or PLC etc.
And you'll have to get them to check first, because not all of them are aware of it. I tried it yesterday and voila, it worked, so it'll work in the other stores too.
And their @nker (anker) tills, not W@nker lol
I got asked for VAT Reg and Company Registration Details.

bearcub24: you weren't asked all of that because your not on a business tariff, you got offered a deal when you renegotiated your contract, and thus the retentions team offered you something above and beyond everyone else, or different at least. So for the purposes of the discussion regarding this £15 business tariff, your deal is not the same deal
As for ID, depends on the business,
I'm guessing tmag has an LTD or PLC, hence the ID asked for.
As my business is a partnership, I just had to provide a letter headed paper and personal ID.
Sole traders need the same too I believe.

@ tbag...
your a sole trader.. you don't need to be VAT registered if your turnover is less than £64k per annum, and as your a sole trader you don't need to be a registered company, you don't even need to have a company name on your bank statement....
Just tell them your a web designer

Last time I had a Business contract with O2 they didn't ask for diddly squat! as it was all done over the phone!
If I get a chance to go in today though I'll take my company chequebook some ID and an invoice made out to my company, that should do the trick!

Quick question. Work is getting Blackberry enterprise server on thursday. It is being supplied by Vodafone as are the blackberrys for the users. Would it be possible for me to connect to the work BES using my T-Mobile contract if I activated Blacberry on my account?
Anyone got any ideas? |

I am pretty sure the answer is no, but i may be proved wrong. The reasoning behind this is because the BES Server is on Vodafone and will incorporate the Vodafone Users.
I can check it out for you if you wish ?

Can't see the point personally as it means carrying two devices if the BB is not voice enabled. |
