Thanks for the advice, can i ask how much better is the MXE-60 flash compared to the original flash on the camera? Also how did you take that picture of the stars?

no problem.. the MXE-60 are way better than the original LED flash on the camera though.. but LED flash are very usefull in Macro mode. i dont suggest you use the MXE-60 to shot close up object.. the result of the picture will be too bright and it ruins everything about the stars picture.. its not a real star as you can see, its a rain drops shots in the middle of the night equipped with MXE-60 flash.. it does look like a stars at a first glance

quite agree with that point there mate, but yet... it does have a cons on it.. when you snap a picture with it, there's a shadow on the left hand side when you look closer on it.. its because the flash are located on our right hand side.. but anyway, overall im still impressed with it cant hope too much from a camera phone though

Hey all,
Now that I've posted a do-it yourself guide I'm sure most of you all can do some minor mods to suit your personal prefernaces. But as some of you peeps would'nt like "getting your hands dirty" I'm going to make one last driver(or maybe one of my last few lol) to suit the average needs of you peeps. Quickshare your input will be most helpful since you put the cam drivers to very good use as we have seen from your pics...lol
Shaprness: I compared several K750's all using the R1CA software with unmoded drivers the K750's being brand new and the degree of sharpness and colour re-production varied therefore I must conclude that this is cmaera module related due to poor SE qualtiy control but we cna alter sharpness to an extent as seen from various drivers. So which driver shaprness do you guys like the most?
ISO: Fixed ISO or Auto ISO? Fixed ISO means that you have noise free but very dark pictures in light. I think if its on auto we get best results. But it can be changed since you guys now know how to do it
Compression: Most stable at 92% so it will be at 92%.
Videos: at 15fps cant be increased
NightMode: How would you like the nightmode setting
Spot: On/off
Colours: Saturated/Normal
Focus: Normal/Full Range/No Macro
LED Settings: White Balance settings etc...
Zoom: I think we should keep it at 4x since digital zoom is completely overrated by mobile manufactureres and it totally spoils the qualtiy of the picture.
ANy other special requests etc....please post em here or pm me. Like I said this will be my last or one of my last drivers since I think we've almost reached saturation point.
Regards,
Akshay

ok aksd, my suggestion:
-turn the flash MXE-60 pernamently on (to flash everytime when plugged in)
-lower the compression of photos captured with MXE-60
If possible and agreed, of course:-)
Thanks for great work so far! |

I was wondering if digital image stabilizer can be implemented into the new driver?
If the fixed ISO100 is too dark then why not fix it at ISO150 or ISO200 for a change?
Cheers. |
