@ Francois,
The better half has been checking out Reason 3; goes for around a hefty £240-odd on average...£30 more and I could get a brand new P990i off eBay.
Speaking of eBay, they're selling 'nie-amptelike' copies of Reason 3 on the site for about £50!

Samsung introduced another 3 Ultra Edition handsets today, namely the F300, F500 (Ultra-Video) and i600.
Check out the screen-both-sides candybar form of the F300:

It's the start of a brand new day over here in Singapore, I'm on to my second day of work. Just an update, I've just seen the M2 adaptors. The package contains a M2-MS and M2-MSPD adaptor. Selling for about S$20. Maybe it's not new, but it is for me. Right, have a great day ahead guys and girls!

@ wanqa, sorry bro, it does come at a price...maybe one day I will be able to afford it, but for now Jack Sparrow is my friend...but if I could, I would...

But I must say, Reason absolutely rocks. I have downloaded so many free sound banks! And if I went truly Jack Sparrow, I would have been able to get all the pay-for sound banks as well, but yeah, I know I need Reason, and I will get it when the time is right....

Crap, I always have to log in to see the pictures!

I am still giggling at that Matric Examsion ID...a day later!lol!

Arr me mateys I live on a pirate ship, I've not set foot on dry land since I was a lad around about when Win95 was released.
I have Reason 3 and Steinberg Nuendo but I cant use them (Even if I hadn't have gotten them from Jack Sparrow) because I'm running XP Pro x64 ed and their stupid dongle drivers dont work on it.
Luckily Maya 8 and Softimage XSI both come out in x64 editions, which just happens to be more in my line of interest.

@Falcon786
Wait a month and get the SE W950.

You're going to have to 786KBR about the P990.

R309 per month, what package is that on?

I just phoned Vodacom and the dude says there's no news on the W950 coming out on contract, I'm so bummed, although I dont think it'll fail network testing seeing that the P990 and M600 were both approved already.

Not many geekstas as ourselves do I guess, but the unashamedly bling-conscious amongst the buying public are helping to keep the handset going in the UK sales charts.

Ah, Maya 8. My nephew bought a Davy Jones version from eBay, as he was seriously considering a career in computer animation. He's focussed his energies on architecture now. Have you fiddled with 3D Studio Max at all?

I can see that I'm going to have to pay a substantial amount to get the W950.

@amawanqa
Too true, the poor and technologically impared also have to live .

You must tell your brother to rather visit The Pirate Bay next time he needs someting, it's where Davy Jones lives.

I've only got 3D Studio Max 8 and to me it's like 500 times harder to use than Maya, that probably explains the US$3500 price difference.
So no, I haven't really messed around with it, is there a specific reason why you ask?
I was actuall interested in 3D computer animation as well but after seeing what a rip off the south african courses were I decided to just keep it a hobby.

No specific reason for asking, apart from it being one of the 2 programmes that he bought to to try out computer animation.
He has also not bothered with 3D Studio Max that much, possibly for the same reason as you mentioned.
He was contemplating doing that expensive course in CT...still cheaper than what they charge in the UK via Escape Studios...one of the lecturers there worked on the Gorillaz music videos.

Well if I was him, was totally serious about it and I had the money I'd go for the GNOMON courses.
But they're &%#$ing expensive.
