Thanks for verifying and clarifying my rather clumsy explanation, Kitsune.

My friend Wikipedia says the following:

The company's growth has accelerated dramatically after being chosen by Microsoft as a hardware platform development partner for the Windows Mobile operating system (based on Windows CE).

HTC products are sold under several brand names, some of which include major telecommunication carriers, such as Orange, T-Mobile, Cingular, O2 and Vodafone.

HTC is the ODM for the following IT companies that retail Windows Mobile based PDAs: Dell, Fujitsu-Siemens, HP/Compaq, i-mate, Krome, Sharp Corporation, Dopod (HTC's subsidiary company) and Qtek (HTC's subsidiary company).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Tech_Computer_Corporation

It also mentions Qtek
And even more interestingly:

From the beginning of its existence until Fall of 2006, i-mate sold branded versions of Pocket PCs, PPC phones, and smartphones manufactured by Taiwanese mobile device giant HTC. In September 2006, HTC ended this relationship with i-mate (at the same time it cut ties with O2). This was announced soon after HTC started selling devices under its own brand name in Europe and purchased the PPC/smartphone distributor Dopod which serves Asia and Australia. Since the end of its relationship with HTC, i-mate has begun carrying devices from other manufacturers, including Inventec and TechFaith.

I got addicted to it this year and and it's absolutely brilliant although there are some inaccuracies with contentious articles.

Crap, everyone is bored! I have been working my @$$ off so-far, but can take it slow. I am here at the office after all for today.

Been good info, as I have been wondering about this. Think we will see some sort of upper-class revolution happening in this arena? A whole bunch of smart-phones no-one can afford fighting it out for market share? lol!

Anyway, guys, go check out www.take2.co.za for great dvd prices...got lots of rare and classic dvds going for R59, which is not bad...now I can get Mad max 1-3 and Pump up the Volume (which you cannot find anywhere!) Never mind the Black Adder, Seinfeld, Frasier, Smallville, Scrubs, and all these for reasonable prices...I am tempted to do my Christmas shopping online this year...

I would not easily buy Monty Python online...must say, their prices are worse than Electro Cats at Menlyn, except for the 4 dvd disk set.... http://www.take2.co.za/product.php?id=575669
I paid R500 for that....but it was like a year ago...And they even have Eddie Izzard all over the last DVD trying to gate crash their Live in Aspen show (popping in to make up for the missing Graham Chapman) only to be kicked off by them...quite funny! I quite enjoyed the dvds. Still have to get the movies, but I see them so often, so I do not get round to it...

Another DVD I liked was the 2 disk Monty Pythons Quest for the Holy Grail set:
http://www.take2.co.za/product.php?id=2273
They have a short on 'How To Use Your Coconuts' and the "Knights of the Round Table" song done entirely in LEGO...pretty impressive....and a bunch of other extras...I saw it at our local Spar going for 80 bucks....they do not know the value....lol!

I cannot believe they did this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Butterfly_Effect_2

After the way they screwed up the DVD release of the movie?! If you guys do not know, the movie ending and DVD endings were different...I loved the movie ending, but the DVD ending was really disturbing...It just gave an entirely different effect to the movie.

LOL, the Motorola KRZR has just plummeted in price over the past week or so; now going for £159.95 (approx R2240) when bought with £10 airtime from the UK's Carphone Warehouse:
http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-Home

Maybe the recent availability of the very similarly specced Moto RIZR Z3 slider has also contributed to this...

What to get? The best of flying circus box set is good, got the best, or a whole bunch considered the best on them. Would be the best collection with the all round 'being good' thing going. There is always the box set you can import, dunno how much, but with every single episode of flying circus on. That would be too much. But the box set and the 3 movies would be a complete collection for any fan who has not lost their wit:) more is overkill. Maybe thats why i avoided getting the movies! I got the biography as well. Lovely expensive book, except no one bought any of the ones they had at exclusive books, so got it for like less than 120 or something:) will post some pictures sometime of my collection...
