Yeah I really hope Sony adds more features to it's UI..
- Custom grid size ( 4x4 is waste of vertical space, I prefer 4x5 ), or at least just put it 4x5 rather than 4x4... the screen has more height that width I wonder why all manufacturers uses 4x4 grid !!
- Add the ability to hide apps in the app drawer..
- Add the ability to have secrets app menu, where all the shortcuts will be hidden, but still can be accessed from secret menu from the home screen and app drawer. like swiping the lower launcher bar from right edge or left edge will reveal new set of icons for secret apps...
- Add profiles for Ringtones, Audio level, screen brightness, BT, WiFi, NFC, Tethering, Notifications & selective notifications ( hiding notifications from selective apps, or hiding all notifications except selective apps ).. it's very nice when we have a car profile and all Whatsapp or Facebook notifications will be suspended till we exit this profile...
- Adding more controls on the quick controls in the notifications ( like Samsung )

I think it's a given, that at least for Honami they will focus and bring more features to the camera part of the software.
There are no more barriers to cross. All I have in common with the uncontrollable and the insane, the vicious and the evil, all the mayhem I have caused and my utter indifference toward it I have now surpassed.

Carl Zeiss has a agreement with Nokia stating that their optics are exclusive for mobile only. |

^^
FYI, carl zeiss is exclusive for nokia in mobile phones, not in CAMERAS! so sony canon, nikon and other camera companies can use it in their cameras

@nodarsixar
Could you please refrain from posting rumours which we've known for months from sources that have likely first heard of that stuff from here anyway. Thanks.
A 4x5 grid is a minimum in my opinion, I have quite a few apps, I wouldn't want to have to swipe 7 times just to get to some of them. |

It's been revealed in the past the Apple and Samsung have been known to be dodgy when it comes to reviews - bribing reviewers is fraud.
How much do reviews affect sales?
I mean, when large sites like iPA have reviewers comment stuff like this:
"Yes, I have, but I wouldn't call them boring even though they are all alike. The thing with Samsung is that people like the design of its smartphones, judging by how much they sell each quarter. Why would Samsung change a working formula? Why does a Porsche 911 sold today looks so similar to the way it did in 1963?"
Nick_T
If people that shouldn't be allowed near the internet are writing reviews, then Sony will need their largest marketing budget ever to sell well if reviews have an affect. Such dumb people with so much power are a headache to even think about. |

i mostly use 6*5 and 9*6 grid(nova launcher) thats why i never use any stock launcher(even though i like some of them)
a good addition would be some more unique widgets.(i loved timescape back in elcair era)
some additions to camera app like slowmotion,120fps wvga recording, double shot(somehow useless but some people like gimmicks)
more small appz.there is a phone dialer smallapp in market that i really find useful.more like that
again i dont use google now,s-voice or siri much but Sony can have something like that(again gimmicky, might be useful for some but not much for me)
some exclusive games developed for xperias
