@bucheral:
the long antenna that's on your ETACS model (is it a EH237?) shouldn't work on this phone. As I know it's a GSM900 antenna which was designed for early GSM900 models like the GH218. However, it's a quite rare antenna, so keep it well for the right model

Hi,
I am happy owner of two real beauties now: The T29 in "Jade Green". I was told that they tried out a lot of different colors at the Malaysian Ericsson factory before they released the T29. Jade Green is one of two colors (the other is called "Light Opal Green") which are officially named by Ericsson but have never been released.
These two T29 are possibly the only jade green ones which ever came to Europe but I think I will give one of them away since I don't need to have more than one in my collection. Anybody interested?

@leks:
is it a R380 WORLD or R380s prototype? The WORLD version only works on GSM900 and the american GSM1900. It doesn't support GSM1800 like the R380s does.
Regards, r0sewhite
To all others: The green T29 Prototype is sold. Sorry...

If it's a world or a ordinary version doesn't really mather since both 900 and 1800MHZ are used in Sweden.
I guess your provider, unlike the others, have a block against protos in their network. |

@Jojo,
yes, it's working fine. I've got a lot of phones and parts from a friendly malaysian guy and there was a lot of T29 stuff included. I've also got some T29 antennas with red translucent sockets and I wonder how a front cover in matching color would look like. Probably this question will never be answered.

@Jojo:
My friend used to work in the Ericsson factory. Just like me he did a lot of repairs and is a collector, too. Now he gave up repairing and just wanted to keep his collection. The stuff he gave me has been produced in his factory.
He just told me that they unfortunately have never made a red cover matching to my antennas. The injection mouldings were just too expensive. However, the green T29 is a real beauty and it already became one of the biggest treasures in my collection.
