Looking forward to my department's Christmas lunch. The work environment is quite laidback so will the lunch, last year they had it at a strip club.

The pics are fine, KBR. None of us are professional photographers (I presume..?) and if we've managed to catch a decent pic or indeed the essence of the subject/s that we're taking pictures of, then surely that's pretty much 'job done'.
This was taken yesterday with the Nokia 3230, while visiting one of the most famous market streets in all of London: Portobello Road.

Here's my advice to Team India's batsmen: They need to stop coming on the front foot and wait for the balls...play it off the back and ignore anything going wide off your stumps, especially in tests.
Now relax and batten down the hatches for an onslaught much later when the ball starts softening up and the sun kills off pitch movement.

LOL, I guess I do in this regard; when we went to the local B&Q Warehouse (very big hardware chainstore) a few weeks ago to look for more coals, we got some funny looks and questions from the employees there... eg. " Are you sure you don't mean coals for fireplaces...? Summer's over..."
"So?" 
Fortunately some of the corner shops/ delicatessans and the SA shops stock them all year round, unlike the big supermarkets etc, where all barbecue-related items are regarded (and stocked) as 'seasonal' only.
Some serious sosaties (kebabs to any non-SA citizens) on the coals last night:

@da wanqsta: I thought we were done with hilarious names for our sportsmen...remember Cheese van Tonder, Vleis Visagie and Kleinjan Tromp? Now we have a new generation of BLACK rugby players and they've got some ridiculous names...Chilliboy Ralapele and Kabamba Floors.

LOL, I remember Vleis Visagie.
I'll never forget when (Stefanus) Fanie de Villiers was bowling in Oz all those years ago, and the Aussies had this big banner during one of the ODI's back then (around '92/'93) reading 'Stick that up yer Fanie!'
Here's a few other choice names and nicknames from SA rugby, apart from the classics you mentioned, which you may remember too:
Giepie Nel, Pote Fourie, Koos Meiring, Mof Myburgh(!), Flip Geel, Tjokkie van der Merwe, Doerie van Deventer, more recently Os du Randt and who could forget that SA cycling legend, Ertjies Bezuidenhout!
Now how's this for a SA ID:
