started off ok ? it seems the same even now, insults then, insults now.... its a flame wars thread, what do u expect ? people calling others "sexist" ? LOL its not against forum rules and many ppl are participating in it, except chickens like govi so i cant close it down without everybody's permission

guys,
i have joined the se playtime but have no clue on wats it out.can somone explain wat its bout from the very begining??searched the whole sit...but didnt get any info.and the game(or whatever) starts tomorrow morning.
saw page 3 tonight....nice movie.

I'm planning to Buy palmOne Treo 650 from US.
This has Digital Cellular Technology: GSM 1800Mhz, GSM 900Mhz
I'm planning to go back to INDIA in few months and am wondering if the GSM technolgy by local providers in India (say Airtel or Cell One) would work?
Checked on some sites and found majority of Indian GSM cellphone providers are using GSM 900. So i assume Treo650 would work?
Question 1> I AM NOT SURE OF TRI BAND CONCEPT. IS THIS COVERED IN GSM? SHOULD I BE LOOKING IN Treo SPECIFICATION FOR SOME OTHER COMPATIBILITY?
Question 2> Is Treo 650s offering of GSM 900 the same as GSM cell phone providers in India? Will putting a Indian SIM work in Treo650?
Any inputs/experiences are highly appreciated.

hey i just tested something, my k700i battery is actually very good.
it can play mp3 for about 8 hrs on full charge. radio works for about the same time with even the bluetooth on!!!!! i am serious, i just ran these two tests over the past 2 days. next i'm gonna do a talk time test, but my plan has very few mins, so tryin to figure out how to do it.
