thanks to r0sewhite (for sending me the spare part) i could repair finaly my r380s backlight!! i'm so happy with it, it works properly! here is a pic:

You mean the R290? It works on GSM900 aswell as on Globalstar satellite network. You can choose either GSM mode, satellite mode or "GSM preferred", which means that the phone switches to satellite mode as soon as there is no GSM network available.
The R190 would work on GSM900 and the asian ACeS network.

You can find a battery for like 200SEK on sites in Sweden selling spare parts, like euromobile.se , hansa.se etc |
