Hi everyone!

I do not think this needs another thread because the application is on the X10

is Moxier any good? I want to download to X10, University email, calendar and address book.

I know I can use GMail for calendar and address book, and even synch PC's Outlook with GMail,

But short question, experiences using Moxier please..

thanks!

Well ive charged myphone up 3x times now and so far all have gone to 100%
ive been bunged up with a cold and well angry birds seemed a good thing to keep me
pre-offed the annoyance of it all !

what i wanted to ask was I heard that there is 2x Screen protectors on the X10i when you get it,
OK so the first one is easy its that one with the writing on that comes off easily.

but onto that second one have glued on saying that cos I can't seem to get it of and im scared if I do it
i'll scratch the screen, is this protector ment to be taken off or have left it on the phone for some BIG reason?

tbh I wasn't aware it was a screen protector till Bonovox mentioned it to me,
and now I can see it how have placed it on badley

whats the downfalls leave it on or get it off?

what have you folk done about it?

The screen protector is supposed to be there Kerry. The pre fit one on both my black and my white x10's have been fitted perfectly. There have been people who have taken theirs off. Some have put another non SE one on and some have just left it off completely. Personally I've kept them on and will only be removing them if they start to get badly marked.

The second protectot is for shatter resistance rather than scratch resistance, meaning you could shatter the screen without it but with it you'll start to get scratches. I removed mine after about 8 months and not looked back since. It doesn't come off easily, I used a knife edge at an a very soft angle and just teased up a corner then peeled the rest. I shat myself that I might scratch the thing though.

The screen itself is scratch resistant under normal use (don't think it won't scratch in wood chipper or anything). The original protector is there to stop what happens to iPhone 4s happening I guess, which is nasty cracks if it comes with 10cm of a hard surface. You can put your own 3rd part scratch resistant screen protector over the SE one and not notice too much ill effects. The SE one is very thin and perfectly applied, I'd say only take it off if it has a few scratches on it.

lol well ive never droppedmyphone out of case but have done alotin the case,
its padded though so protects well

what i'll do is just leave it on though and if fluff gets into it on the
edges and it startes looking horrible after a few months I might have another go at it
is the screen nicer without it on? people are saying that it's more responsive on Android site

is that alot of Bull?
the screen seems alright to me very quick

I took my "shatter proof sheet" off and I think it's almost too sensative now. If you take it off, i'd definately recommend replacing it with a good screen protector.

Anyone got a recommendation for a really smooth screen protector? Anything oleophobic available?

@Miss UK The screen is slightly smoother and slighty more responsive without the shatterproof protector, but I never had a problem with responsiveness when I had it on. I stick to what I said before about leaving it on till you get a few scratches then decide on replacing or just going naked.

@HYPER-X10 I used a Martin Fields for a while and I don't recommend it. It had a weird purpleish tinge to it and I didn't like the proximity sensor cut-out. I'm naked now

Was bored so did a few screenshots of my x10i running

FreeX10-beta3 - custom rom with
X.FX10.v1.3-2.2.1.Froyo-FreeX10-Beta3 - Theme and
ADW-Launcer EX

Homescreen - if you noticed the statusbar bug in this screen it's a screenshot thing, not present when using phone.

Drawer - using groups therefore almost no icons visible

SKIBBE Took the plunge today and installed the FreeX10 2.2 Beta 3 ROM.So far very happy with it.No issues/FC from my side at present.Had it running since this morning and setting it all up nicely again.Love that there is no more SE Blue background. Its a nice change.Timescape/Mediascape....gone....Woohoo!
Not worried about not having Camcorder functions or limited camera functions.Bought myself a nice little Nikon which can take over that job.
Ran a benchmark and My Device topped the list with a score of 1351

I am normally careful but when I had my older black x10 I never knew the shatter proof protector was there. I scratched the screen taking it from my pocket on the second day. I was really pissed till I found out that screen protector is not very scratch proof. So I removed it and its better imo.

@Andy

I do Miss SEs Phonebook, it has quick letters on the right side, makes it easier to navigate
even the caller ID is bigger/more fancy

The Flash support is a nice addon (thou i have just tried it)

and as mention before i can't record sound

the overall is only positive, and i guess there will be more updates
