A bit cloudy in this one
Still a cracking phone.

Two pictures from Whitby taken this evening. I resized the pics to 800*600 prior to posting them directly on the forum. The full size pics (the first I've taken since the firmware upgrade seem to have some weird vertical bands on them).
Actually, I'll post thumbnails of the full size pictures so you can see what I mean.....Something to do with the firmware, or an issue with the light etc?

Damn it! You beat me to it!. I was going to go and take some shots of the abbey yesterday but I couldn't be assed to walk up the 199 steps. I did beat you to the harbour pics though lol. Fancy two people from North Yorks taking pics of exactly the same spot!, thank god you don't live in Whitby - two people living in Whitby (which has a population of only 13,594) and both owning a K750i, both posting pictures of the same thing, in the same internet thread. Disturbing if you ask me.
Might be more Whitby folk posting here soon though, two guys from work have since ordered the K750i after seeing mine.

Anyone else well chuffed that the video can zoom and maintain resolution? That's friggin cool! It's using the sensor when it zooms, not just blowing up a tiny image.
EDIT: mine arrives today via UPS, god willing. Look for photos soon!

im contemplating whether to buy an extra memory card for my soon to be k750.
the only thing i can think of taking up alot of space r pictures (im not gonna listen to music on the k750 cuz i already have an ipod).
so with the default 64mb card, how many pictures (at highest quality) can u take?
n do u find the need for extra memory?
thanks |

You can store about 120-130 pictures on the standard 64mb Memory Stick Duo.
You'll find that even if you dont listen to music, the card space will easily be taken up if you put music videos or whole movie files on the phone. So, its best to get a 128mb Memory Stick as a minimum IMO.
I currently use a 1GB Pro Duo stick, which can hold around 1,800 pictures.
Heres some fun snaps from today - just to prove that the K750i can still take pictures without having to spend time playing with the settings, white balance or focus:
Not the best two pictures ever, my hands were not very steady. These next three are better:
Like i say, fun snaps, nothing i spent ages getting right.
