Hey, that girl from the sony ericsson service solutions just implied that smartnet no longer services SE phones. Is it true? I hope not.

I am presently in Smartnet for upgrade and having a lunar grey's keypad changed to the i version.
Smartnet remains a level 1 service center...software upgrades and mechanical repairs... no electronic or repairs requiring soldering.
Their service remains superb. |

hey smartnet peeps,
can you guys remove ALL (as in zero dust)the dust that settled between my lcd and front cover? dust went in when i had my lunar gray cover changed to mineral gray at semicon main.
sadly, my phone went back to their service area 3 times and still came out with dusts so i pulled it out. screws might get loose or something.

That's what I'm afraid of, if I decided to have my t68i artic blue cover changed to a mineral gray, I can't just open it anytime I want to clean the insides just in case some dust comes in when the phone gets open, and the one who serviced it overlooks the dust, and just closes it |

thanks for your quick reply G_M!
how long will the cleaning take?
also, will this be covered as a warranty-based service? (free?)
TIA!

@G_M - Darius informed me about the keypads and nagpareserve ako. My question is, how come T68m users that had their faceplate converted suffered dust particles inside? I dont know kung saan sila nag paservice but can you assure me that this wont happen to my phone? I believe in smartnet's capabilities naman, but the reason might be the result of the conversion, na it will open gaps for dust to enter more. If not, I would gladly have my keypad changed cause the chrome peeled off already. And while at it, I'll have it upgraded to R5D and have the screen cleaned na rin. Thanks and more power!
