SEUS also says that my X10 Mini has the latest firmware Strange as my X10 Mini Pro updated fine and they are both Generic UK handsets. Bought sim free (no contract, network).

Questions:

1. What if the phone hang, and since the battery is not replaceable (not unless we use a screwdriver), what can we do? Mostly if the phone hang, we cant turn it off by simply pressing the power button, we do is to replace the battery to turn off the phone.

2. What is 3d games available for x10 mini?Ive noticed that this device has no GPU thats why some 3d interactive games wont play on mini.

Thanks

2 over-ride options...

1) Press and HOLD the power button down REALLY long... this triggers a master shut off, similar to holding your laptop power button down for more than 20 sec.

2) Inside the cover of the Mini, you'll see a small round hole near the camera lens (there's a white plastic button inside)... that's a hardware reset switch... the Mini Pro has one too, but it's way easier for us to remove the battery.

Hey got a really weird problem..

ADW launcher seems to block my data traffic after for a while. The EDGE signal disappears.

This has happened twice. The first time around I actually made a complaint with the network, and eventually ended up resetting the phone. This solved it.

Yesterday I tried again. Installed ADW, set it up and after 30 mins or so, EDGE gone again. Uninstalled ADW and voila... EDGE was back.

Don't see how the two could possibly be related...

Any ideas as to the reason this is happening.

I think holding in the middle button and the power button at the same time does a reset? It's in the manual...

How many variants of BST-38 are there ? At SE's site it says it is 930 mAh. The one preinstalled on PRO is labeled with 970 mAh. A guy at a Swedish forum bought a spare battery for his PRO and got one labeled 950 mAh.

It almost seems like it is not possible know exactly what capacity a battery will get untill the manufacturing is completed.

OT: does anyone have barnacle wifi running on their mini/mini pro?

I'm having issues where it seems to go off (app still running but my ipad loses connection once the screen goes off) when the screen goes off. I disabled (and uninstalled) all power management apps.

Is there someone I'm missing?

Thanks!

I cannot get it to run barnacle unplugged (without cutting out even after setting wifi sleep policy to Never switch off)
Unless the phone is doing something else to prevent it from going to sleep. e.g Try playing music but turning the media volume to 0 while barnacle is running unplugged.

After you do this it can hold a connection-as long as your battery will let you anyway!
