can the keypad be locked on the C901? and it wont let me play certain games like the brain challenge thing, it shows its locked, and on the list of games they have a lock symbol , does this mean i need to unlock them?

Keypad can be locked by pressing * and then the top right key (search key from standby). You don't need to unlock the games. The lock symbol means its protected and cannot be copied/sent etc

You phone has been flashed using 3rd party software before has it not ? The bit I've highlighted in bold shows when the phone hasn't been rebooted properly after flashing with a 3rd party client (eg. Wotanserver, Davinciteam,Kulan kendi etc)

Reflash you phone again. This time leaving the sim card and memory card out of the phone. Once the reflash has finished. Power up the phone without the sim card and memory card inserted. Let the phone boot up until you get the insert sim prompt. Turn the phone off and put your sim and memory card back in then power up the phone. That should remove the error

If you drop your phone, like the K800i / C901 the mechanical shutter closes to protect the lenses from damage

I take it you've dropped yours then ???

I've just done a comparison of the supported languages and the T9 languages installed into my:

C901 with R1GA028 CID53 Generic Western Europe firmware
Languages: English, Basque, Catalan, Dutch, French, Galician, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish
T9: English, Dutch, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish

with my

C905 with R1FA035 CID53 Generic United Kingdom firmware
Languages: English, Basque, Catalan, Dutch, French, Galician, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish
T9: English, Dutch, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish

And all the languages match up. I would say that the Generic Western Europe firmware is going to be the closest we're going to get to a UK spec firmware in our C901's.

Tip: With C901 macro+xenon in auto mode you get a lot of flash burn (where they flash totally overexposes the object and it appears to be totally white) this can be improved greatly by lowering the ISO value to 100 and increasing the shutter speed (by selecting sports mode) at 1/40 seconds

The camera doesn't actually allow you to take pics in sports/landscape/twilight landscape modes with the flash on but this limitation can be overridden if you restart the camera (exit and back)

Ill post some pics of this later to show this
