Well, I must just pop in and say I am quite happy with my Golden White w910 AT LAST!
Good slider, good sound with good earphones...only that I'm using s 4gb card and that seems to drain my battery too fast.
Obviously, the first units were not this good.Building issues were common, I'm afraid.

agree with ros-mari
good phone if u get the right one....be sure to check build date, wk44 and later seems to be the way to go (mine is 44 anyway and is pretty stable)
pity about the camera though been crying over it ever since i got it

my last black one was 07w49(or 48 I recall) and was faulty too (slider again).what a nightmare I went through with this model!
This is bought in x137 ebay, asian originally and it's a 08w15
Current software is R1EA033
I did not know the battery would be so much affected by the 4gb...I do not use 3G.I though, silly me, that battery was only "spent" when using the phone.
Well, I am updating it right now through SEUS

lol bad luck ros-mari, as long as u got a good one now
mines holding up okay atm but im hoping it'll break before my warranty though
does anyone else's battery cover wobble slightly? mines really bugging me
ye and on the note of build quality, SE should really put more effort into the paint the use on the edges of the phone and the material of the navigation key, what used to be sparkling silver metallic finish is now replaced by cheap see through plastic!!!
Come on SE, lift your game, or sony's gonna be limited to producing tvs and cd players in the future. |

mine does now
I'm using a tiny bit of paper under the lid, it helps... |

Putting your spare SIM card (or other number if you have) under the battery cover should do the trick with loose battery covers
P.S. "Under the battery cover" seems to be the best place for keeping SIM cards I have seen many people doing this hahahahaha

jeez, 9 hours?! well, the update has obviously stalled so the only thing you can do is to unplug it and see if the phone powers up. if there is a problem, either try a reflash or take it to a service centre.
i've never ever had a problem with SEUS but there are a number of people who have and maybe they can give you some advice. but really, there is nothing you can do now except to unplug the phone and see how it behaves. |

If it's just the download that is stuck you can unpplug the phone there's no problem. Probably a network issue.
If it's updating your phone may not restart, but after 9 hours you have no other choice than unpluging it and see what happens an retry the update. |

Well spiid, did it work, or are you on another 9 hour marathon?
