I just want to say that if u gonna buy w960i for its sound quality u better pass it. i got a w950i for a year now and i just bought a sony mp3 player and the sound quality is far above w950i.it made me think that sony won't make their phone sound quality to match their own mp3 player or else their player won't sell.i think w960 sound quality almost same with w950 maybe just a bit louder... |

The transparent stylus was an earlier version and wasn't very good to use. It was quite bendy.
I would think that the solid black one will be the final version. |

In my opinion the sound quality of the W960 is a lot better than the W950, not just louder.
I use my W960 walkman player quite a lot and have no complaints with how it sounds.

Can someone tell me if the W960i supports updates of podcasts from the device itself like the Nokia S60 phones?
Or can it only be done thru the media manager?

how would by a phone with only 8gb and no expanded memory and an old version of symbian with an old version of uiq sorry this phone is not worth to be held in your hand or buy. |

What! Im sorry but you post is just stupid.
8gb on phone is quite alot and for the GP they think its massive. Plus the GP have no idea what a UIQ is so its not really going to affect them. The only thing that I am dissapointed with is the screen colours. |

Well going by the review of the nokia n-81( A phone many held as a competitor to the W960i) i read on mobile-review.com today. The 960i looks like the better offer. "With all these aspects in mind, it is clear why the handset comes only with a 2 Mpix camera (just for the sake of it actually), its out-of-the-box sound quality is not exactly stellar. While you can easily boost its sound performance by going for a better set of earphones, the number of equalizers is no match for the senior models, which is a software-related limitation."
The 960i has a better camera is still a smart phone and offers all the PDA qualities of the p1i short of the keyboard. |
