Hi Dicky
I really hope that this one gives you no problems so you can get to enjoy the full benefits of what IMO is a device currently without equal. As in the four months I've had this one i really have grown to appreciate it more and more and the 3 day break i had with the iPhone only taught me what i was missing.
Marc

Guys can you give me a advice that should I get Sony Ericsson P1i or E51? I had E61i and P990i. I don't much like UIQ3 (from P990i). How is P1i with the latest firmware?
Bobafett and Marc can you tell me which will be fine? |

I think the E51 is a good device for you if you don't like UIQ. The E51 has good performance and the OS is more stable and faster than the P1i another plus point is that it has a good built quality. But on the downside it has a much smaller screen than the p1 and doesn't have qwerty keyboard but I think you already know that.
Till now I only heard positive things about the E51 so it should be a good choice. |

Thanks for your reply @Yakkaimono.
I need mainly EDGE, but P1i hasn't this option. so I got E51-1 black. |

Thanks @GUCCI.011, Yes I'm. It is like to me compact version of E61i.
I mainly like the default browser, because it has download option which is allow me to download files while I'm in class at university, Just start the download and left in the pocket while class is going. So after class easily get the files that I want. (in Bangladesh net speed isn't good so downloading somethings are real pain and process of kill the time because I got around 8/10Kbps avg). And also found my HBH-DS970 works fine. I have a little question, is E51 support 8GB memory card or 4GB card?

Officially the E51 supports up to 4GB SDHC but many people tried 6GB and 8GB and they had no problems with them. |

Thats great man, the E51 is a great device, there was a German site that had screenshots of an E51 running a 16GB MicroSD memory card so it can definetly handle a 8GB. Im off to university as well next year and im planning to use the university's Wi-Fi with my N81 to download large files. Is there still no 3G in India?
