@all: where's every body popping up from?! For a while I did'nt believe I was in the right forum. Welcome to all the newbies, hope you'll enjoy it here.
On this mobile tv thingy, I think MTN has goofed big time.I give them credit for a lot of products they bring to the market cos they do their home work wella before launch. Not this time though with this damp squid which smirks of desperation and panic.Hope it.s not supposed to be an answer to competition.Wish them luck though, reckon they'll need lot'S of it this time!

Welcome newbies and returnees! Good to see PNF lively again after the recent 'ghosting' spells. Lets keep it live.
I hope Glo counters MTN sooner with their own DVB-H mobile TV, I just hate monopoly.
My boss returned from a trip abroad with a Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte. He has a 8800 fixation because this is his 4th 8800 variant. The price? Let me put it this way:
For Nokia lovers, the price is equal to current price of E90 + N95 8gb + N73.
SE lovers, W960 + P1 + P990 + K850.
The phone is just a series 40 phone with 1gb memory and 3.2 mp camera. Even the gem stone on the Dpad is fake according to some reviewers. Who will deliver my boss please?

@brolly. you should be able to update your phone's firmware on your own if you have a decent internet connection. All symbian phones are hackable so do your search on google or go to ipmart forum or dotsis.com

You can update your firmware at Alireta. chances of bricking it are small - but they are there all the same.

Irecently updated my P1i via a very slow internet connection and nothing happened. It just took more time to download the files, of which the real update is done off-line while the firmware download and CID checks is done online. I have updated with multilinks, starcomms & Celtel GPRS several times but will advice you to do it when ur sure of power & a stable/faster connection, probably @ night.

I am going to direct your boss(another unsuspecting victim of good nokia marketing) to this forum.

@Brolly: you don't need a professional to update firmware, all u need is a good internet connection, stable power supply (preferably use a laptop) and a fully charged phone battery. ur n95 is s60v3, I recently updated a device on the same platform without any problems, so I don't expect u to have any.

The N95 can be updated via the phone menu without a PC cos I remember I once updated my brother's N80 like that via GPRS sometime ago. Maybe u can try that out if you can get your phone connected via wi-fi or bluetooth PAN cos the GPRS cost might be very high, or check the address @Oluyom provided.
