I know it's kinda early

But do you know when One Sone 2 will be releasing? it will be in a 6month window after One Sony release or it will be more likely the end of the year?

I understand why everyone is excited about the Honami. But what about the Togari?

Are we certain it will be 6.44", or will it be 6.1"? Is IGZO likely on it as well?

What about battery?

It is 6.44". No IGZO

Battery 3000mAh

@razec

It's probably wacom. Specs should be about the same as Duo 11's stylus

@rickrz

Gap between One Sony 1 (Honami) and One Sony 2(2014 flagship) will be about 8-10 months

@nodar

thanks, I was wondering if I should buy it at the end of the year or just wait like 3 months and a new one would come out

but since the gap is bigger than I thought (which I'm happy about, actually) I will totally go for it

@ramu so starting 2014, Sony is doing one flagship a year? I hope so. They have too many models, I think. I'm sure there are many who think that it's good to have a lot of models for different needs of different people, but all it does is spread out resources and confuse the general consumer. I'd love to see Sony adopt a 3 model per year rule. 1 flagship with everything, 1 mid-tier, and 1 entry level.

I also ask about the 1 flagship/year thing cause it would suck to jump on the boat for xi1 and then have them come out with an even better flagship just 6 months later. not to mention cannibalizing their own sales.

^ agree with reducing the number of models, but only three? I think that's too few, Personally I think 5 models per year is better, 1 Flagship, 3 midtier, 1 entry level. Why 3 midtier? Because in the midtier is where the price point is quite flexible, it bridges the gap from entry-midtier, midtier, and midtier-flagship. Something like:

entry level price = 150 USD and below
midrange price = 225-500 USD
Flagship price = 600 USD and above

The mid tier phones are where SMC makes most money. I would say two high end phones a year, two mids and two lower end devices. Technology is moving so fast now that it's easy for a highend phone to become eclipsed by a rival's in a matter of months.

Is it true that Sony Ericsson wasn't a Tier 1 customer with the chip makers and so had to make do with less than the very best choice of high-end chips, etc?

whatever they do with mid-tier, i think there should be clear high-end phone that has the best of Sony in it. If they make most of their money off mid-tier, that's fine. but the reason I only suggested one instead of 2 or 3, is because it spreads out resources that could be focused on one device. a general user won't really care about anything other than price, so nuances between the two or three mid-tier models aren't really relevant. I also think the more models the more confusion. Hell, I would consider myself a die hard sony fan, and even I get confused on which model is which!

anyway, back to rumors. I guess this thread has been off topic a lot due to the lack of meaty rumors on togari and honami. Hopefully, there will be something juicy coming soon since the speculated announcements for each are getting closer with each passing day. *fingers crossed*

For me, it's all about honami. Actual confirmation (as much as possible at least) of specs and most importantly, photos of the design. thickness of 12mm wouldn't bother me.. bring it on SONY!

This according to searchtrends on Google. Look at that 2011/2012 rise of Samsung, that's sick!

Poor comparison. Samsung also make TVs and all sorts of consumer goods that Sony and HTC don't.

I use this in work. It works better with more specific trend terms.

This is for the UK in 2013 so far.

Plus, this is only the number of searches on google, which is no representation of sales. If a particular model had a lot of issues, then that also would generate increased searches on google.

I've been waiting for the "Xperia Ray 3".
I don't know when/if it's coming.
My current phone is the Xperia Ray and I love it.
It is however starting to feel a bit slow (Stock 4.0.4).

Today I got to take a look on the Xperia Z.
It felt much better than I thought (I thought it was going to feel too big).
I've been looking on the new Xperia ZR but I am currently skeptic about the 10.5mm thickness.
I didn't know the Xperia Z was only 7.9 mm thick, the same as the Samsung S4.
I've tried my brothers Samsung S4 and it felt comfortable in my pocket.
Has anyone felt/tried/experienced the Xperia ZR? It looks very bulky on the images I've seen.

The Xperia L seems to be in the size I'm looking for but I don't really like the design of it.

I'm sorry, that was no rumor - that was just a "testimony" I guess. Carry on.
