@idambakumar- Do 1 thing, remove the battery and charge the phone without it for a minute. Now put the battery and start charging. Works for me.

I shall mate for sure I love it cannot put it down!! I got it from Amazon Market Place a company in Bradford named Forever_5!! I asked them before I got it will it be unbranded sim free & brand new. They said yes & they were true to their word. Really happy with it!! I don't like the black one!!

We can make multi-touch work on Maps and default browser by following the below link. Doesnt' work on mediascape though. I am on the latest firmware 2.0.2.A.0.24

I'm quite glad that update failed, I just realised what if I can't re-root! I want to see the fallout first. I'll see if I can get the FW number on the new update for you though.

Sony Ericsson (SE) has begun pushing out an Android update this week in Japan that enables multi-touch for the Xperia X10 range, ahead of a scheduled first-quarter roll out in the UK.

are u sure??? i dint try that actually.mobile is not in my hand.. its in service center...
did u face the same problem with ur mobile?? i mean the battery never get charged but the charging symbol apprears and animates.???
if so i'll give a try on next week..
thinking caz the service center tried and returned back saying its cannot be fixed due to h/w.. the phone had limited so there should not be any PCB track problem..
