After a long journey last week my ER205 arrived. Many thanks to wapt who managed to get the phone and ship it to Germany. I think without his help I could never hold such a phone in my hands. He's a real good friend.
Even if the ER205 looks similar to our GH788 it is completely different: The battery works only with 3.6V instead of 4.8V. Since the charger is not suitable to our 230V I have to find a voltage converter. Other chargers won't fit as you can see on the pictures. Further differences are the extendable antenna, a button on top of the cover which is (as the symbol indicates) probably for speech recording. Strange is, that the phone comes with a SIM slot but its release-button is sealed with a plastic cap. Does anyone know a reason for it?

@tranced:
The IMEI is standard on GSM based phones. Analogue phones (like ETACS or AMPS) for example have a ESN instead. I don't know what kind of serial number is the japanese standard. The only thing which looks like a serial number to me is the one starting with "NER..."
@Boba:
Yep, there is a 1998, a strange sign and a 09 in one row. It probably means that the date of production was the 9th month or 9th calender week of 1998.
