@Brix, not the foggiest clue, boet. Haven't been indulging in any foods or beverages which could've led to it either. Feels like somebody's slogging me with a baseball bat every time i cough or laugh, so i've been trying to avoid laughter. Mission Impossible, lol. Deluded advised me to drink more herbal tea, and he's right, it beats the hell outa coffee any day.
Did any of you catch that MTN ad on tv recently? I only saw the latter half of the ad, whereby they mention some R35 voucher which comes with R100 worth of data.

Good morning everyone! Almost a beautiful day here in PTA, other than the sun popping out behind the rainclouds...hope that stops, and that the clouds will do their thing!
Got loads of work again today, so if I am quiet, you guys know why.

You chaps with proper internet connections, check out these two links if you want:

http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2006/11/21/men_smash_nintendo_wii/
It is articles (everyone can read them) about this guy who along with his friend went to wait in line to be the first person to buy a PS3, and when he got outside, smashed it with a sledgehammer. 4 Days later (Yesterday) , same thing with the launch of the Nintendo Wii.
Now why, I ask What is the point of this? They say to see the expressions on peoples faces when they do it. Okay, the expressions were really not great, so really, unless they have a lot of money to waste, why? I don't have this undying love for game consoles, but sheeze!

Maybe they need a visit from the Hairy Fairy to assist them in their quest?

Even if I had all the moola in the world,I wouldn't do that! It's a total waste of money! And really, what's the point in doing this.Ofcourse to see people's expressions,THEN WHAT?

@da wanqsta: When did Panasonic stop making mobile phones or is it just GSM? Never understood why we never got their phones this side.
Been quiet of late due to work pressures and at the same time depressed at the indifferent form of my favourite football team.

Kidney problems come from what u drink or how much u drink, of any substance, also products with lots of calcium(kidney stones)
The reason why Panasonic didnt come in is coz the SP's didnt want it here. |

I've yet to master drinking that amount of water a day. I've simply got to get into a habit of keeping some bottled water close at hand if I'm to drink anywhere near the daily recommendations.
High time I became a water-swigging wanqa.
Right, I'm off to get some coffee in the staff room now...need caffeine...

We could always ask this dude to bring us all some nifty water filtration units
At first glance i thought it was some guy all dressed up for an early Xmas party, but closer inspection revealed it to be a mannequin

LOL, humour's always good.
Congrats to the Proteas; I didn't expect them to win by such a margin though...157 runs.
This is one of the Year 4 display boards in the school's middle-floor hall, done by one of our Irish teachers: (Taken with the ol' P900):
During Black History month (October), her Year 4 class focussed their research (using DVD's, internet, books etc.) on the great man himself.

@francoislr, no problem, thanks for the warm welcome from all of you. This seems like a very nice thread to be in and I'll probably be dropping by very often. Though I might not be able to understand the context of some of your conversations, seeing I'm from out of town. But no worries, I'll contribute a little bit of input from where I am. Anyway, I'm busy studying for my uni exams. It's tiring.
