Guys, I have to say ther are many different voices about i1 spec in China. The major discrepacies is as below:
1 Thickness: 8-9 mm. The sensor itself is about 6mm.
2 Display is IGZO most likely.
@ Randomuser
Really confused. Could you please check with your source once again for the confirmed spec? Thanks.

Perhaps the camera+phone thickness will be 13mm bt the phone thickness will be 8-9mm not including the camera hump

Exactly. Arc design taken to another level at the back. 8mm in the middle and 13mm or so around the edges.
P.S. That's just my assumption and not a rumor
BTW Honami Pixel size = 2.13 microns. XR5

that means d camera not 8mp anymore....10/12/13mp .'
sony should make d camera shutter button unique like the power button too...

Z = 1.12 micron
808 pureview = 1.4 micron
N8 = 1.75 micron
Htc One = 2.0 micron
i1/Honami = 2.13 micron
Though to be frank pixel size doesn't matter so much IMO. Especially when it comes to Sony sensors, RX100 proved that even with lower pixel size it can outperform cameras with higher pixel size.
Yes camera 13 Megapixels, same as Z/ZL/ZR/UL

with xperia i1 onwards....samsung face big trouble...sony is getting back on
track...d 1st xenon xperia i1...i1 should easily pawn the htc one with 4mp camera...
and it will be king of android phone camera...
@ramu any XR5 about aperture? more likely f2.0
xperia i1 micron is almost 2x the xz..i1 1/1.5 vs 1/3.06 sensor...

At least f2.0 like the htc one please..
sony should use d cyber-shot name for d camera for xperia like pureview for nokia..sounds cooler...
what about sony G lens and Optical Image Stabilization in i1? |
randomuser Joined: Sep 13, 2011 Posts: > 500 PM |
Yes Honami uses G lens.
Optical Steadyshot I've heard but can't confirm at this point. So it's only XR2 |
