Thermaltake Big Typhoon - is necessary to cool down my A64@3Ghz 
But as You can see i had to replace original fan with more powerful (Arctic) :]

Hello everybody.
The best camera driver (IMO) is LengStreet_v5.22_Final_Mod_v2, but I think that I can't use it in the best way yet :/
Shots taken with: LengStreet_v5.22_Final_Mod_v2 driver
Picture Quality FINE, Enhanced Mode with Manual Focus + flash

For AMD system, I used the fan for the power supply, the big fan - with a big heat sink as well

shot taken at 02 am with no flash on iso set on 160 shutterspeed at 2.7
my driver .. all manual settings ( iso , ev ,saturation , hue ,wb , shutterspeed & slowshutter etc ... ) + predefined settings for scenes
and another one with Kriomag's last driver with custom WB

Completely agree. SPU is DA MAN!!!
I've tried a gadzillion cam drivers, with excellent results, I must add, but the universal problem was _slow_ camera plus shake in pictures.
SPU 1.4 b2 is so kickass that last night at a party, I was able to take pics (in flashing light) of people on the dance floor and even my little niece, who normally doesnt stay still for a decent pic - this thing focuses QUICK!

The moon problem and the dark screen is caused by the Bus value on the firmware I try to control not by JPEG compression. For the time being, please use previous driver. I will make the final driver for A4A tomorrow. Sorry for this inconvinent.

Yes, Im very often use the EV, thats why I like supermode cam.
but i still doesnt know how to change the EV function of supermode in your camdriver. can you make it like on strong 5.6/5.7? I can simply change the EV function.just another suggestion.

May be i'll redesign my driver later to simplify it. For example i never use in a "real world" contrast control, manual compression adjustment, manual WB control. Even ISO control is useless for me, i need only ISO 100 and very rarely fast shot mode. I never use zoom and EV control =)
Really i need to know what to leave in a driver and what to throw away, because i need only shutter speed control, manual focus and different WB/AE modes/presets.
About shutter speed:
Zoom 1.0 - auto (in both cases)
EV -1.0 Fast shutter (exposure time): Zoom 1.1 - 1/6400, ... , Zoom 4.0 - 1/6
EV -1.3 Slow shutter (exposure time): Zoom 1.1 - 1/5, ... , up to 6 seconds.
hope for the simple release.
i think EV control is usful, especially for night light and snow scene. |
