I've just tried again soo many times, even using different USB ports as I read somehwere but the result is the same - just the two empty folders. Also, this is what happens when I select the FS folder - the box comes up for a short while, then it goes back to the empty folder

I've just found out my k750i is CID49, whatever that means, so I can't use FAR. How gutted am I!

Oh well, thanks for all your help Jeff, and everyone else.

Same problem here. Two empty folders come up when I connect to FAR. CID problems as some have pointed out. CID49 is still not supported. Still waiting though. Hopefully soon, Darkmen and co. can crack the CID49 code so we can also enjoy FAR.

I think the best way is to flash your phone using DaVinci

you can only change cid numbers up to 36. You cannot change a CID 49 phone into a CID 36. It's simply not possible without professional tools and service cable, and not likely to be in the near future. It's more likely some other work around will be discovered.

The only way to lower CID from 49 to 36 is to replace flash memory chip into a newer one. In other words buy a new phone with CID36 inside

Basically I assume there is no other way to turn off that bloody annoying camera sound (which doesn't even coincide with the phone taking the picture, so most pictures are ruined!)

That's all I wanted FAR manager for really.

if you can pay for even one davinci credit (about $10-20 I believe), then you can use davinci to remove the camera sound.

Believe me, if the camera sound irritates you, you won't regret paying for this mod....

You should always chek the cid of your phone with davinci first before trying to use FAR. If davinci detect that your phone si cid 36 and FAR show empty FS dir. This means your phone is set to cid49 that you can fix in the service center.
