btw, what is the best distance for taking a macro picture?

rpd89, you hafta sort it yourself, as you look at the viewfinder using macromode, youll see how clear the object maybe as you move back and forth to your subject. but in approximate.. around 50-80 mm.

base on my experience, i usually measure with my pinky finger, while holding the phone close to the subject and let the tip of my pinky touch the subject or a little apart from that point.
