@BobaFett: i went to the place and i found nothing to do. i mean, i just stayed in the reception area because i didn't know what to do. i looked inside and it was like an offices department. i saw no devices as i expected. what i'm supposed to find in there? sorry for my ignorance.

No, Ericsson will never ever launch a device with the Ericsson brand. They will stay in the background
It will also be possibile that the bought Ericsson platform won't be recornized. This is just a technology platform.

Just got a new old mobile handset.
And if I say old, I mean old! This is 'Curt'! Produced in 1987 and sold by Ericsson and also by Ascom in Suisse.
Quite bid and heavy, but it's the first real handset and not a portable phone.

does ericsson still make home phones like dect phones?
i thought the quite, but a friend of mine told me that the company where he worked recieved new ericsson phones, 4xx. in total it would mean 2000 phones. the company my friend works is tate lyle, an english company that took over the factory, they produce sugar and bio fuel.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

Well, it would work, if there would be any active network for (analog 450MHz).
But it switches on and I can enter some menus:

@all native english speakers:
I think about translating e-zones.net to english language but I'm not quite sure if my english is good enough for this job. My first try now is a guide how to find out if a phone's IMEI label is faked or not. It can be found at http://www.e-zones.net/artikel3.php . I would be thankful if you tell me honestly if it's worth to translate other articles aswell.
My goal is to make e-zones.net as usefull for many people as possible but I also have to say that it's hard work for me to translate everything. If you think it's worth doing it I will go on. In this case I would be glad if you PM me for minor mistakes and help me correcting them.
Thanks, r0sewhite
