Btw Nokia seems to have stopped supporting the Pureview 808 since it was a failure in sales according to info I found... 10.1mm seems to be the max thickness they're willing to have by looking at their WP8 line... |

Btw seriously, what's the deal with intolerance towards 12-14mm phones???? It's a phone we are talking about and it's not as if you need to be a bodybuilder to carry a phone 14mm thick
To be frank there is no point to anorexic phones, it's just ridiculous IMO. Z is overly thin.
At the end of the day you are getting a phone with a camera better than most point and shoot cameras and also much thinner than them yet people expect 10mm thin phone

@ramu..front stereo speaker? or both at the back...anywhere is ok at least is stereo speaker...XR5?
wishlist...IGZO with Triluminos...3/4gb ram...4000mah for 12mm ...cool led light like zr/zl....new front camera tech..OISmm
what is focus tracking? faster auto focus?
zomg..Just had a hands on with a 5" 1080p IGZO screen.
Amazing. Absolutely nice amazing. I really, really hope Sony choose this for the H2 phone. It is beyond absolutely everything currently available on the market. The guy who had it said that Sharp have a firm order from Apple so far and Sony are contemplating using it, but the cost is much higher than regular mobile displays either from Sharp, LG Display or JDI.
now left software part to care about..latest android version and faster update...advertise it more..
then it will be phone of the year..
please include new camera software...
- dual shot/video..
- eraser shot...htc/nokia/samsung got it
- action/drama shot...htc/nokia/samsung got it
- gif...htc/nokia/samsung got it
- motion focus
- best photo + face
- of cause something new is welcome..
- air and motion gesture is useful too sometimes...like eating...hand dirty
- improve the small app like max 3 open 3 small apps per time...

Imo it's mostly about fitting in your pocket. Women always carry a bag with them so I don't see a problem for them but men... Anyway it's not like at 5" it fits in pockets comfortably. Imo as long as it has a great design and is nice in the hands thickness up to a point isn't an issue for me...

They should somehow make it appear as if it is thinner. Subtle curves should give the illusion of it being slimmer. But I'm really curious about the design, recalling some here who have friends who had seen it saying it has the best design for a Sony smartphone. |

Guys (and gals), Sony i1 is a 'show-off' phone. You CANNOT expect a 2/3" sensor to fit in a 9-10mm chassi, that is just impossible, it cannot be done without sacrifising something else.

The 928 seems to have good enough camera quality for me. Not much need for anything better on a smartphone imo. If I won't near perfect photos I'll just use my NEX... |

Guys, I have to say ther are many different voices about i1 spec in China. The major discrepacies is as below:
1 Thickness: 8-9 mm. The sensor itself is about 6mm.
2 Display is IGZO most likely.
@ Randomuser
Really confused. Could you please check with your source once again for the confirmed spec? Thanks.

The i1 sounds to me to be what I actually refer to as a flagship. A testament to what the company is able to do and not something that is designed for the high-end mainstream. |
