I've mentioned this problem since beta 01 but got no reply..what I know for sure..is that the EV options have been switched with the zoom buttons (+ -)
something like strong's driver (5.6)
now i use the original driver..
Yes, you are right. I already said sorry for not replying ur comments since I was so busy last week. At the moment, please dont care much about the EV and zoom features until you are used to them. What is important is that we all try to figure out good quality at the first stage then think about the functions. On the new driver (beta2), I hope it takes pictures more quickly than the beta 01. What I am working on the driver now is try to know more about the I2C bus of the camera. On the last driver, I have increased the voltage of Vdd_i0 and the bus was reduced to 12Hz but with longer period. This method will speed up the performance and reduce noise as much as it can. I have also found that we can use the camera driver to control the luminace (brightness) of the screen which will be useful (in camera mode, we can see better contrast on the viewfinder). Btw, my camera has got damage on its len (sun-burnt) so I cannot get 100% result. That is the reason why I want to hear your comments.
Excuse my english.

EM = Enhanced Mode - modified Normal Mode to remove noise - longer exposure time and low ISO --> stady hand needed .
ENM = Enhanced Night Mode - modified Night Mode to remove noise - veeery long exposure time an low ISO --> tripod + selftimer needed.

Here my question: Is image quality of a new W810i better or should I stay with my K750i CID49 modde with CID36 cam-module?
Some impression from last week holiday shot with raider 6.6:

Camera module is exactly the same, all W810i have 'CID36' camera module (check link lpachuong posted) - only difference is software (ISO80, maybe better contrast - more tests needed - my brother has K750i so i'll make comparison).
But W810i is much faster (taking picture is almost instantaneously!)
EDIT:
Kriomag BETA W810i:
EM:

Camdrivers Comparison
lpachuong's A4A 13.00 Beta1 x Strong's SuperFunction 5.7
This is one shot posted before here, taked using lpachuong's camdriver:
See this image in original size.
Now, shot taked using Strong's camdriver:
See this image in original size.
Photos taked in similar daytime for best comparison, both shots with Manual Shutter Speed.
My veredict is: i don't know what is the best! But Strong's appear a bit more sharp.

I think A4A has better colour. However, the sharpness is not very good in that case; but dont forget the details of the leaves were affected by the wind. |
