except the Swedish army who are using much equipment from Ericsson you can probably find Ericsson radars for example in quite many countries |

well.. since I did my military service in the depatment for electronic wafare I saw quite a lot different Ericsson equipments radios, antennas, signal tracking devices and so on
btw... as you might have read Ericsson sold their Microwave Systems company to SAAB last year in order to focus more on their core business. So no more military equipment from Ericsson

@cytech & boba - Thanks !
I am now wondering if Ericsson can venture in this kind of things . . . don't ya think that other celfone-brands might join them in the very distant-future I mean, what if one day celfones will NO longer be if USE or what . . . or perhaps Nokia can go back in selling toilet-papers then

@cytech takk do u have maybe some pix of those, i mean what was shoot on your own or friend?
@jn i do get your point, but we focus here on the past mainly
one thing is for sure. /// can/could/will many other brands support on mobile technology, but imo its not the best place to discuss the"what if?"...
many ppl think that ericsson "disappeared", but only in case of mobile fones and that was just a slice of the big swedish cake...

@BobaFett
not so many pictures I am afraid, it was classified as high secret equipment and taking pics of that will give you a free ticket to jail so it's mostly outside pics of the vechiles equipped with the systems. |

I'll see if I can find the photos, I have only them in paperformat, so I'll have to scan them here is also a classical sight in the Swedish army, Radio180: http://www.soldf.com/images/s_ra180_1.jpg
http://www.s1.mil.se/images/local/patgb_lagmast280.jpg wasn't something I used, this was put into use much later. It purpose was to track, listen and disturb enemy radio communication
wouldn't be surprised if they used some of the military knowledge in the civilian market. But it's nothing I have heard about.

@Boba
not very often I'm mostly using phones now... the battery to my R380e has given up I think, I must have it connected to a charger in order to have it working. |

I could probably gotten a battery from my last place of work if I just had asked don't remember the production date, I have it in a box out in my storeage space so I'll check that later... it's actually a R380s which just has the R380e firmware, still the purple cover. |

@Boba:
Which shop are you talking about? T39 covers in white? Did you mean rose white? This would be quite interesting. Can you provide detailled informations?
@ynohtna: Rarely
Maybe 1/3rd of the phones have dead batteries. My phones are all in new condition and some of them were boxed for 10 or more years until I've got them. I don't think that it's necessairy to have a fully working battery for each of the phones. I have at least a few good batteries of each type.
The other phones with good batteries need recharging only every few years. Most people do a big mistake leaving the batteries connected to the phone. This will discharge the battery in a short time because each phone consumes power even when it's switched off. I have little paper stickers that I put on every battery contact. So I can leave the battery inside the phone but there is no electrical connection.
