LOL Kryptik, sure smells like it...
There are very few things that get my goat more than such blatantly selfish, incredibly inconsiderate people.
Maybe an impromptu 'kangaroo court' there can carry out some long-lasting remedial measures.

Right, it's P-Day for the networks... So, how loyal are you to your network?

I'm staying with Vodacom for a few reasons: I'm on contract, 3G, good service, 90% coverage across the country...Basically I'm happy with my network.

@francois, weasel? Lol i meant to tell you, i met one of the guys responsible for that 'thing' (meerkat?). As in designing and producing it. He somehow doesn't experience it to be unpleasant...

@ wanqa, thanks for that info, now i know as well:)
So which network to stay on? Which brings me back to my question a day or 4 ago-if you could choose aspects from each of the networks to make your own service provider, what would it be from each? I still got at least 18 months to go, so it is not a big issue for me. I dont think i would change easily due to voda providing me with all i need right now, but at the first sign of a better network operator i would go for them. I just need cheap calls, cheap 3g, 3g that works well for that matter, sms and a better mascot(or even better, none!)
@ psycho, i dont see that the sick mofa that designed that thing would say it is disgusting. It is his sicky mis-formed baby who happens to be able to dance better than some white guys(a can of baked beans can dance better than a white guy!), and he is riding the wave of disgusting corporate backslapping f***ed up-ism:) (that was said well!) I move we boycott that thing. We play the 'emotional trauma' thing...

Just saw the most disturbing site, a guy who walked by carrying a baby in one of those things that you put the baby in so it is facing you, now this guy had something in his mouth which could have been a sucker, but i couldn't see properly. Eventually it ended up being a cigarette. I was so close to beating up an absolute stranger today guys...that baby was small, no way it was older than a month or two. And if it is, it is definately getting too much smoke at a way early age...there are some sick people in this world...

Morning all!
The guy who set his backside alight must be a real dumb@ss, or at least a burnt @ass...
Heard that Skype (not sure of spelling) is much cheaper than VOIP. Have a friend you is constantly in touch with the UK and she's happy with the those Skype rates.
So after a couple of weeks of planning with the marketing guys, our year end party for the clients kicks off at 12 today. Really hope its a major success, cause we've hit alot of snags along the
way.
There's already alot of people moaning at me for not inviting certain people, but I've told them to take a number. Almost wore my tshirt that says: "Have a cup of shut the f**k up, think before you say something stupid." Love that shirt! But I'm sure the clients would not be impressed.
I've invited 110 clients (all have confirmed), problem is that we don't really have parking for them. We have about 40 client parking bays. So I've suggested on numerous occasions that we let the rest of the staff leave early to accomodate the clients, but to no avail. At least I tried!
Have you guys read the latest news regarding saswitch fees? Don't know if its of any interest to any of you. But here it is http://www.fin24.co.za/articles/business/display_article.aspx?Nav=ns&lvl2=buss&ArticleID=1518-1786_2028235

@francois, I totally agree with you. I've seen it many times too, people smoking in their cars with kids and babies, pregnant moms smoking. Its just wrong.
I'm a smoker, and coming from me its bad. I could never do that in a closed environment with kiddies around me. People should know their limits.

@ medusa, Skype uses VOIP to connect, so in essence, if there is Skype charges, that goes on top of your bandwidth usage. Now to Skype to another Skype user using your pc or mobile capable of using VOIP would cost you bandwidth. So if you had free internet, you would pay nothing to do that. I have used Googletalk, the Google chat application to phone other Google users. It works really well! Now the other bit, with Skype, when you want to phone from Skype to a land line, then you pay. It is very cheap. Just go read up here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skype#SkypeOut
I hope I got all my facts right!
The SASWITCH fees thing is good. I would have major benefits from me as I am limited to ATMs if I don't want to pay through my teeth.
PS. Enjoy the Party, drink a glass of coke for me...(add whatever your poison!)

As it is i don't even POP my mail any longer, since i practically live inside my email inbox anyway...
Just had to post this, a comment taken from Fin24's site-
Message: "MY bank is not MY friend. MY bank takes MY money. MY bank charges me for taking MY money. MY bank uses MY money to make money for itself, not for me. MY bank charges me for taking MY money back. MY bank charges
me for giving MY money to someone else. MY bank charges me if I want to know where MY money is. MY
bank charges me when I want to know how much of MY money
MY bank holds. MY bank is one of the richest companies in SA because of MY money. MY money doesn't make me rich; MY money makes MY
bank rich. MY bank is not MY friend. I can choose MY friends.
MY friends dont rob me at the end of every month."
