to be honest i didnt know either... but while playin around and then when it says enter address... thats how i found out...

I think the reason voda not tellin, is the fact that is no security on the mobile web!!! so therefore parents wont buy those particular phones....well they could but then deactivate gprs but then you cant send pics and stuff... so theres no point

if voda advertises it but then cant put a security measure in place then whats the point... theyll lose out on higher end cellphones..

MTN always charged for delivery reports.I knew about it for 18 months ago.........The last time i mentioned MTN slashed DATA prices. What i did not say is Vodacom is still cheaper on data rates. MTN has 3 bundels ,10meg,100meg and 1gig if you go outside bundels Voda is cheaper......Check the press tomorrow MTN is launching there new data rates...........Why wait for MTN to launch 3G when Voda rates are cheaper or by the way MTN will be launching EDGE in June when they have 3G

@Tahir: You're starting to sound like a stuck record. Does Vodacom pay you for all the free publicity?

MTN haven't even officially released their price plans for GPRS and guess who's already slating them?

I don't favour any companies...if it's encourages more people to use GPRS/EDGE/3G it will be good for South Africans....but seemingly Tahir doesn't see the bigger picture and would rather slate a company for actually bringing down it GPRS rates.

Ya, i agree with brix. Anything that increase the sa wap users is a bargain.

Here are MTN NEW DATA RATES:10megs-R10 out of bundels R2a meg,100 megs R100 out of bundels R1.50 a meg and 1 Gig R500 out of bundels R1.25 a meg.....I know MTN 10 meg is cheap but when you go out of MTN bundels they are expensive.I will show you now if you go over by 50 megs on MTN 100 bundel you will pay R175 where as Voda has a package for 150meg for only R149.MTN screws you by R25.If you do 2 megs with MTN it will cost you R1750 with Voda a 2gig will cost you R1198....MTN screws you by R552 . The problem with MTN at the moment is they dont have 9 bundels like Voda.......It just show you MTN did not do they home work properly........Wait for MTN to release there prices tomorrow and when you work it out like what i done you will see MTN is screwing you.On paper MTN sounds cheap but when your bundels are finnished you are SCREWED.Just work it out tomorrow and you will C for yourself and then you can tell me if i am talking CRAP.............Vodacom will always lead others just fail

Instead of bitching about being screwed you should welcome the fact that data rates are being lowered. Not many people, especially those on contract, will jump ship to Vodacom for "cheaper" data rates.
