Well, you should actually notice I'm from Colombia. We are used to having these birds home. They are very friendly but smart as well.

This is the Congress palace in Bogota's downtown. A beautiful colonial building in the central Plaza.
The palace of Justice, it used to be a colonial building too, but it had to be reconstructed after some violent events 20 years ago.
And finally, Sante Teresa's Church, one of the most valuable architectonic buildings in South America. It's fun to know that all of them are located in the same place.
Enjoy cosmopolitan but classical Bogota

Beutifil pic from Colombia joyo22...Columbia and Bogota have the reputation to be dangerous ?...is this true ?
I had a grey perrot from Africa 20 years (used to live in Zaïre (Congo)) and these birds are the best talkers...and very clever...

Well, I think you guys should start forgetting all this stuff about my country. Colombia and especially Bogota is a wonderful place. It is not dangerous at all. It's a very modern, cosmopolitan city with a lot of malls, highways, bridges and nice people. Of course, as in every country, there are some dangerous sectors which you should not feel like visiting, but, in general terms, Bogota can be compared to any modern capital in South America. Besides, Bogota has the perfect weather: all year (and I mean all year) the maximum temperature is 19-22º C through the day and 5-10º C through the night. As you notice, people can wear different kinds of clothes, that's why fashion and glamour are so influential in Bogota. Well, if you wanna know more about my city, come visit it and you'll see how great this spot is. And pleeze, forget about the dangerous thing. If this place were dangerous, I would never take a picture with my S700i in the middle of downtown. Greetings.

this is one of the most visited places in Bogota, Lourdes Church.
And this is a little monument representing the symbol of a shoppping mall in the north of the city. It seems ver uncommon, doesn't it?

one poster posted from the 1.3 vs 2 mp cam-fones thread a picture shot from a k750 of a candle, well, here's my take, 3 candles from just an s700!
this is a reverse of what the new macro focus cams of se can do, my s700 can focus on the background and blurr the object being focused at!
just a simple church from manila..
