@xpr - yea. 9H hardness is a pretty lofty claim. but the technology itself does provide more protection than just having the GG by itself. There have been very positive reviews for well known brands who make a nano coating product (like Spigen). The technology is proven. Whether or not the nano coating products widely available to consumers to apply to their phones is as good as the actual technology - don't know.
will be a question of faith I guess haha. which screen protector did you get?
I ordered several from eBay, Amazon and mobilefun.co.uk - whichever comes first. All of them are tempered glass. |

The nano coating I got was from a company called 7tech on Amazon. |

@Bialynia - thanks!
@xpr - damn man. i hope at least one of them fits well and is cut precisely. that must have cost a bunch.

I hope so too. I won't touch the device till I have both a case and a screen protector, so it's a bit frustrating that somehow all those vendors are shipping quite slow this time around. We'll see...
BTW, Spigen offer a nano liquid. Maybe it's worth checking it out. |

yea i know. i mentioned it in the other post.
might try it even though it's more expensive than the 7tech brand Bialynia used. Definitely don't want to worry about a $10 difference for a $1200 phone. ha

Hi everyone!
ordered mine on the 5th June from the Sony Partner store. Direct link from the Sony website. Still waig. I called and the first operator asked for my order number 4 times, then said 'thanks very much, have a nice day' and hung up!!!!
Second operator could not find the order and asked 3 times for the order number. Eventually it was found and she said ' This phone has not been released to the public!'
I have been told 16th June, 18th June, 31st July then today, Thursday 25th June but no emails or communication. Sony UK Twitter and the online chat in Sony's webpage just say 'call the eStore!'
Very frustrating..

WOW... that sucks!
Which partner store did you order from? it seems like they are idiots and you should never buy from them again. At this rate, how can you be sure they will honor your free gift!? I hope it works out for you my friend.

Can 16 and 70mm do 4K60 or just the 24mm?

Hi moogoo, I ordered from the link in the Sony Uk Electronics store. Now they list Xperia Official Partner (Sony eStore), CarphoneWarehouse, Vodafone, o2, Amazon and Currys as the places to make an order.
The Official Partner now shows 'from July' for deliveries, so that could be 1st til the 31st! Carephone Warehouse is stating August! Amazon says unavailable. Currys saying Saturday for home delivery.
To add the annoyance, Sony just sent me an email with their current offers and say the headphones WH-1000XM3 cost over £300! Other stores sell for around £240!
Just have to be patient...

@ofiach - that's crazy. there are other people in the UK who have it already, don't they? i'm shocked at the delays. sorry you're having to deal with it. Yes, just have to be patient. maybe it will pleasantly surprise you and arrive early.
