I see the newer A200 platform phones have a slight update to the platform (w760, c902 etc, etc)
The main menu can be change to grid, list and rotate and there are some other things that are animated that the older A200 phones don't have (I say older but they are not that old lol)
So what I am wondering is it possible for SE to enable these things in the older ones with a firmware update and if not why not?
I think it would be very nice if they did this. |

proxy settings is not an option, i have a feeling vodafone limit what you can do, I tried setting the phone through SONY support where they text you the settings, but vodafone blocked that to! |

Muffins, under >>"Settings", scroll right to >>"Calls", then >>"Smart Search".
"Smart Search" lists all available contacts in the phonebook starting with the digits typed in the standby screen. The search engine looks up both letter combinations in names and phone numbers that start with the digits entered.
It means you don't have to go into your phonebook - lazy way Its also very handy if you wanna check if you already have someone's number in your phone or not. Extremly useful and quick feature.

Im thinking I wish I got the silver one instead of the black one.
Do tell why. I've been trying to decide on that.
Well I know why they called it Espresso black. the front is black but the sides and battery cover are more of a dark coffee colour hence the Espresso name I guess.
The back lighting on the buttons is a cream colour and the phones shows up finger prints like an sob, especially the back.
I wonder anyone with the silver one wanna do a swap? Hehehe
Oh and the dark colour hides the fact this phones is almost fully metal pretty good.

nooooo, sparkling silver is
looks thinner than the black, easy on the eye, and shows the "bare metal" effect off well. IMHO, the Mocha is too fussy, with just a few too many colours going on. It looks pretty, but anyone else get what I mean?
OOO, i anyone else noticed that on the sparkling silver it also has gold call/end call buttons? Its very subtle and elegant.

My black one should be here this week! Had a look at the silver but the black just came out on top for me.
The silver is not 'bare' metal, I believe its also anodized silver on top of the metal.
Either colour looks great though!!

The espresso black also has gold button on call, call end, also walkman key.. And the gold looks more contrast with black than silver imo.. But than again it's all bout taste.. They all look great in different way.. |
