Hey folks,
I've already looked for, but I didn't find consistent information...
Do you know what are the ways you have to connect your PC or laptop to the internet using a T300?(except for the Irda)
Tell me which is better...

Cable is costly and is not preferred atleast me not.
Go for IR adaptor that is much cheaper and best option if u want to connect to Internet.I think cable works only one way.Ir is faster and cheaper than cable.Best option for u is IR . |

sonu pls. let me into this. i mean how cn 1 use the phone for internet? that means the phone's wapservice bcomes the isp? what abt. speed. and how much ir adapt cost?

hi
the most important thing,first check the signal strengts.If its less then 4 bars i won't suggest u to go for it.
then check with ur service provider that it provides GPRS and if yes get it activated.
The charge for Airtel is Rs.1000/M(Unlimited,Speed 3-4 KB/s also depends upon ur signal strength) and Hutch and BPL r providing at lesser.Then buy an IR adaptor.I bought it for Rs.800,u can get it from any software/Hardware shop that sells all kind of computer accessories.U can go for USB-IR also it is faster but costly.
Once u have the GPRS activated and IR installed(If u use Win 98,2000,XP)The IR will automatically get installed but u'll have to uninstall the IR modem and reinstall it using the modem script(Driver )thet u can get from SE site.also Install the PC suite then make a connection by clicking sonyericsson star icon.
u'll have to download two thiings(Modem script,PC suite)

I dont understan what is mean of remove the battery? Is that mean we must open the battery cover and take the battery in 1 sec? And 1 question again' Where i can get the newest FW , can u tell the website . PLEASE ANSWER ALL OF MY QUESTION ! I NEED YOUR HELP :-)

IF u r talking of 13sec trick,First remove the cover Keep the battery in Switch on ur phone,do a masterreset and after 12.5 sec release the battery.Don't forget to backup ur games n data.
regarding FW.check out the nearest SE service center.The latest FW for T310 is R3B003
I LOVE  but i hate sony there is a game Drakan:the ancient gate(From surreal)that was to be for PC but damm sony bought the publishing company and it came out for PS2 |

An of topic question: today or next week I buy a t610. The question is will MCA-25 work with it since t610 has built in camera, but MCA-25 has higher resolutions. Thanks in advance.

The answer is no.
It will not work, because the T610 software has no support for the add on camera. Reason is of course the built in cam.

You can go to your  service pint and get a fw upgrade, ask them for your language (which I would expect they have as their standard anyway) and you'll get a language pack with your language, english and a few others.

I was thinked that. But what the hell if I will better pictures then I buy a digital camera. :-D To the language. Go to your nearest :se: service point and they do it for you. They should have firmware version with your primary language as they are in your country too. Understand what I'm saying? ;-)

No.
Language pack is part of the phone software. You'd have to get it at a service point.
