If you just read a couple postings back you will see they talking about week 48.
But if this is true or not remains to be seen...

Good news it seems... To be honest, the RAM issues seem to be severe so this long break betweeen firmware releases makes sense as its not just a quick bug fix...

Indeed...and also i think we can expect new optimized versions of Opera, Quickoffice, PDF+, that will probably be less RAM needed

@Johnex

No need mate, I could go and buy one right now... but... theres always a but....

Buts its bad enough having to carry around a Blackberry and a W800 let alone a Blackberry and a P990!!!

And before you say... I currently have the work mobile and blackberry as two seperate devices on two seperate networks

until the Voda mobile line is up in december and we can transfer the numbers over to the O2 line im stuck!

For me, it's not the shortage of free ram that is the problem, as I regularly go into the task manager to close programs anyway...

As I have said before, my only real problem is the inability to receive SMS messages... and so far, it looks as if I am the only one, plus this has happened on both my P990's..... (yeah, at the moment I have 2)

I don't know if the new firmware will help, or whether it's a problem with my VF account.

The messages arrive, but I can't open them.
