Jeff,
I would give details about the plugin version, but i've downloaded so many different zip files full of plugins etc that I have got totally lost! Trying to follow the tutorial hasn't really helped at all, as I get lost at all the different instructions for various plugin versions and I don't even know if I have the right version of FAR. I should just start again - Is there anyway someone can explain the process of the exact files to download (I have a k750i and am using the cable that came with it in the box) and what to do, in really simple terms? Not being big headed but when it comes to computers, software and phones I know my stuff and am not usually stumped, but this whole process has got to me and I can't seem to be able to get it right!

@alex_ncfc,
Try follow:
1. Delete SEFP folder in \\FarManager170\\Plugins
2. Download some plug in , but not latest \\have a bug\\. I'm using this - SEFP06098.zip - it's stabile in my oppinion.
3. Copy \\after extracting\\ SEFP folder in \\FarManager170\\Plugins and start FAR
That's all !
I'm using same cable like yours |

Gah, it still won't work. It picks it up, but shows 2 folders, one being FLASH and inside it just says "coming.soon" and the other is FS, but this folder is empty.
This is what I am doing:
1) Start FAR Manager and press F11 and select SEFP
2) I press "Enter the matrix" with DCU-60 selected, and k750i already selected by default on right hand side section of menu.
3) The screen instructs me to hold C and switch on the phone, with a timer. I do this, and it looks like the phone is picked up - a couple of lines of messages come up on the screen, such as CHIPID and what not.
4) Then it just goes to the screen with the 2 folders, FLASH and FS, both of which are empty.
5) Nothing works so i have to disconnect my cable, take battery out of my phone and restart it.
Is there any reason why it's going wrong? Anything i've missed from the above?
Cheers

just try and try, plugging dcu-60 must be correctly done. sometimes the pins are so sensitive that it might not connect itself.
hope it will work. it works for me.

When I first plugged in my phone holding the C button, the PC came up with "Found new hardware - USB Flash Device" - it asked for the driver so I pointed it to the EPIUSB files you mention. I assume this is correct?
How do i go about properly installing them?
