anyone experienced that sort of bug where the w850i instead of showing a word say in the bluetooth it will say: "phone name" , it may say: r100432: or a similar sort of system code instead of showing the proper word ???
its only happened about 2 times for me in about a month so no big deal lol

i aint noticed that but i have noticed that the walkman sometimes goes weird and shows orange lines allover the screen and sometimes when i press write new a album art shows up but i can text on it :S |

I did experience a somewhat similar Walkman bug. When navigating through Walkman menus the screen went weird for a moment. It looked bleached and all that could be seen more clearly was the red line indicating song duration. I switched the phone off and on again and the problem has not appeared since. Apparently these bugs are not uncommon.
Maybe something will be done about it. The new firmware is apparently expected to be realeased sometime soon.

ive experienced a few bugs which you guys described , also sometimes while setting a theme while the music is playing the walkman when i press down to look through tracks it shows the same colors as the theme instead of black lol |

it dosent bother me anymore cos the bugs have stopped for a bit anyway but i love my w850i it is awesome |

my firmware is: R1ED001
is this the latest , also my w850i is unbranded unlocked etc.
im not updating my firmware becuase i dont point in doing so unless theyve added something spectacular to the new firmware lol

What's the best setting for W850 clips? I was W800 user, and I usually set the clips as 200 for video, and 64 (32000) for audio, with frame rate 15. |

hey Im new to this forum. Recently got a w850i on contract ( got a cheap deal )
Though after the first day the screen became unstuck along one side- being sent out a new one on tuesday.
Cant believe on a brand new fone it's gone rong already. Has any one else experienced the same problem? In general what is the actual build quality like? and what else should I be looking out for to go rong with my new handset?
Hope my new fone last longer than a day. |

i compared w850i and k750i audio and i think the w850i is alot "clearer" and "richer" , also better than the nokia n72 , so w850i all the way

Guys, my W850i got stolen on Saturday 
My insurance company should be giving me the money for it, but I wanted to get the WHITE non-Vodafone branded W850i.
I should have about £300 to spend...
Any ideas guys?
The phone has to be brand new and from a retailer
Any help would be appreciated...
