indeed, and i compared the hardware to a normal T66 and it seems almost identical, almost like its a final edition prototype... [addsig]

well, defining identical differences, the word "almost" is not a good one . for example, i have a k750 prototype with 04w40 manufacturing date, and it's motherboard "almost" looks like my "normal" k750. of course, in the outside the proto looks like it had not been "finished".

Re batt condition: so far, around 2 days with moderate use (purely text).

@rosewhite,
You are right... dirty white is the backlight.

Being the grand daddy of all that is Symbian (EPOC era), the phone still amuses me to no end. Flipping the unit to write a text.... it never fails to attract stares!!!

@Boba:

well, only a gh 172, which i already posted about, and a gh 197 is coming up, and the k750 proto, which i just managed to get yesterday, but as far as i know, it has no interest in here, since it's a sonyericsson. it's a nice piece of my collection anyhow..

Well i couldn't hack that program identification in phone. Well someone says that there is still program for R380 to download all the software out of the phone. I know also that some people that worked with R380 had a special environment to write apps that would work in R380.

My brain leeks!
Anyone still knows about the protoname of T10 or T18?
I now that on one of the bay proto auctions a suitable cover has been sold. It's been the cover of a T1x series handset but as far as I remember the name was placed within the GF-series like GF988 or something like that.

Finding a R190 needs a lot of patience: I watch for Ericsson specials once a day at ebay de, co.uk, com, it, fr and at. Further more i visit tradera.com and blocket.de every day. On all these pages together you may find each 1,5 years one R190. The last two came not even with the ACeS aerial.

Just added another T39m to my /// COOLection (ice cap blue) R4A FW version Swedish Made.

Perhaps it just came back to me since my previous ice cap T39 was stolen & so was my rosewhite one which I had not replaced yet
