@killerPK: if you had your phone unlocked without patch then it wont get locked again even using SEUS.

But the problem is i'm not sure how this phone was unlocked, i just got it as it is. So will the SEUS update change CID? I have been trying every CDA to find R1DA cid 52 update on SEUS but all i get is either R1BA or R1EA. Is there any CDA that still gives latest firmware as R1DA?

The phone is factory unlocked then. You shouldn't be afraid. Anyways there is 'aerix', a software that unlocks it for free. I'm not sure if it works with cid53 though.

@tranced
Thanks for your replies, actually the phone is from Orange but its firmware was generic and it was unlocked when i bought it. So i really cant say if it was unlocked by patch or by code. Aerix doesnt support CID 53 thats why i want to be careful, i just want to update to R1DA CID 52 to avoid CID 53.
EDIT: After a fruitless search for R1DA CID52 i took the leap and updated to R1EA through SEUS. My phone is still unlocked and working

AFAIK, SEUS can't upgrade DB3210 phones from CID52 to CID53 at the moment ...

On the C905 does not change the CID, where 52 is the will. CID on the platform does not change.
