i have read through all the articles on the lfc website and watched all the interviews and say that both the club and gerrard made mistakes
he thought he wasnt wanted because contract talks didnt start straight away and was insulted when they asked him what he wanted he felt that he was being pushed out
it was stupid they have both apologised and it is over
what is written in the paper excuse my language is complete bullshit
i am delighted he is staying and this wont be happening again as the new contract wont contain any clauses this time

Well i think that maybe a change to Chelsea would have been good for Gerrard, after all 1 player doesn't make the club any better, it need teamwork..
But in short, YES, i hoped he would leave, even if it was only to keep the lfc fans quiet for a few mins, btw can you tell i support Man.Utd. and am very very annoyed at that stupid damn takeover,
Main reason i wanted Gerrard to leave is that i am the only 1 of 4 in my family with common sense not to support lfc 
Hope i haven't offended too many people, only the lfc fans i hope

man utd are poo nowadays
they havent got a patch on arsenal
at the end of the day if he had have gone to chelsea which i doubt he would have had the nerve to
he wouldnt not have been guaranteed matches as there are too many major world class players in there squad
he is lfc born and bread and i hope he stays for life and goes on to be manager
he will be an all time great

Well i agree about Man.Utd. nowadays, i have supported them since i was 4yrs old & they were at their peak 5 yrs ago, from then on everything gone slowly downhill and ended up in this little american idiots hands.
All i can say is 'happy days'
