I agree with gov, whiz. I personally know several people who hopped onto the Amway bandwagon when it started in 1997.they all dropped out midway as they just could'nt give enough time over their regular professions.

I know a guy who left a top notch job at Grindlays bank for this. Naturally, it attracted my attention.

@anto welcome mate. We're planning for us banglore guys to meet and get together. Perhaps debu will provide more info. And the t230 sure is wonderful. @all i was showing off my phone to a fellow passenger in the train yesterday. He had a 6610. I told him of the various advantages of my phone over nokias:-D

i agree, i've had a little bit of experience in this since my dad tried his hand at this once upon a time. Basically you start off under somebody at the lowest level, part of the profits from what u sell goes to your supervisor.
Once you sell a certain amount of the product, you become a supervisor and can hire people under you, now part of profits of what they sell comes to you and so on until you reach a high position (5 or 6 levels above or so) under which a steady income is guaranteed.
You must have the energy and will to go house by house as a salesman selling your product and advertising it. Its risky and only for those who have extreme will or a lot of time to kill.
this is not the system followed everywhere but you get the general idea

All im saying is that this kind of stuff is not something one should start a career on. Maybe do this alongside your chosen primary profession and then decide along the way which one you wanna choose.

These kinda guys have already made their pile and are looking for a job that they can do at their own leisure and get some income at the same time. Not recommended for people who depend on MLM as their primary income.

And your grindlays man would probably be in a position to get people to join him based on the credibility hes built up over there thus speeding up his income process in the MLM business.

I didn't i was with my friends. Rest assured, this is not a door to door selling stuff. I read quite a lot of books on this and an sure this aint a scam. And if one thinks this won't work, yes, it won't work.
