@ jiteshraj, I went to see if I could find info about w850i and M600i and MXIt. Could find nothing regarding the M600i, and for the w850i they said the w900i version should work. I am fairly sure the M600i should support mxit, but yeah, you never know. Will keep my ear to the ground for ya...

Hey guys.

I see some new faces in our lil thread, that is a good thing i guess.

Well i finally got a new laptop, and got it practically set up.

RE: MXIT
Only thing i HATE bout mxit is the fact that its mobile only. I hate typing on my mobile phone keypad, as i have been spoiled with computers.

@ Rhino8, if you have Gmail(Googletalk) you can use it to chat to mxit contacts. Just get them to add your googletalk id or add their numbers. It works pretty well on my pc here at work. The other option is the Mpowerplay thingie. The advantages I have with GoogleTalk is that I only allow people I want to know I am on all day with it in on the whole thing. It does not show I am online with the people I want to not know. So it is especially good if you are online at work, it regulates your contact to some extend.

I mean, you can chat all night and it will cost you less than a coke. Hope that helps!

@Francois, I've never even paid anywhere near the price of a chocolate eclair for my mxit usage. And a coke where you stay is about R15...!

@ psycho, lol! R15? My word! 11 for 2l, R5 for a 340ml can=) Dunno about woolies, but yeah. Think mxit costs differently depending which phone you use. More data usage costs more. But I am not too sure. I just look at the worst case scenario. Had a friend chat once and claim it cost more than R5, so not too sure.

Isn't villamoura a really expensive resturant? That's just wrong! But then again, there a are alot of over priced bars here as well. Maybe one day when I grow up then I'll go eat there

Go to any mall in Joburg, and for a vending machine coke you'll be paying R15. Dont know where you're getting your 2l coke from though! WW is usually the same when it comes to a coke...

Maybe the billing works differently, but i've used mxit for over 2 weeks on a blocked contract.
