I dont even know if thats impressive since I dont care much for specs like this. As long as the phone will run to date versions of Android and some of the latest games those figures are pretty boring.

Long as it continues to run as beautifully as it has been I'm very happy
Galaxy S3 is the 1st Android I have not thrown a Custom ROM into, I often browse through XDA when I'm bored, look through all the new custom ROMS and then think to myself "Why fix it when it ain't broke?" Plus I enjoy using the TW UI, I don't even use a 3rd party launcher, I've got Nova Launcher installed but I just don't use or care for it, only reason I keep it is because I bought it when I was using the Galaxy S2.
Anyway
Here's what Samsung gets for making by far the best Android smart and superphones on the market

Apart from better hardware and higher spec cpu and screen I dont see how they can improve it. I know they will but hopefully in battery life.
I can run my Sgs3 from full to flat in 2 hours of very heavy use.

That's why Samsung have created the 8core Exynos 5 Octa SoC, it's meant to reduce power consumption with half of those cores being the low power Cortex-A7 based cores to handle lower volume tasks, mix that with the possibly larger battery the S4 will have and lower power display and we may see an improvement.
Samsung have been very consistent in improving power consumption and battery capacity with each new Galaxy S and Galaxy Note smartphone, as well as reducing heating up, my S3 doesn't reach the ridiculously high temperatures that my S2 used to.

Probably still faster, smoother and more functional than any Android Sony has made to date.

I don't know if you know how phones are improved or not, but I'll tell you I don't. However, I do guess that microwaving a phone won't make it any quicker or more functional. So when its fully working version is not as quick or smooth as the T, then what makes you think that will be?
@Rikken
Nah, it's the Samsung I've been most tempted to buy as far as I remember, but I'm not tempted enough.

Anyway, the Sony-threadgoers only said that to you guys after you were just ignoring everything they said but just pure-trolling. I'm here to express my opinion on a phone, not to be rude or anything, and if I'm here to express opinions on a phone on which the thread is about, then I'm certain I'm entitled to do so.
Coming from the same group that was complaining about a new lack of respect on a forum, I find that both hypocritical and offensive. Never before have I been told to go away from a thread just because I'm expressing a basic and completely viable opinion.
Back on topic, I wonder how much it will go for. I mean, anyone can ruin their S3 (whilst improving its external aesthetics) and ruin a microwave. That won't cost more than the retail value of the phone (which looks like a panda, but oh well).
I wonder if some random idiot will bid like a £600 as a joke.

joke of the day right there, if you've got yourself to believe that then you'll believe anything mate it's a well known fact that the S3 and Note2 are the only Androids capable of keeping up with WP and iOS phones in terms of speed and fluidity, and that in terms of 2012 phones, were the most functional phones, the Xperia T can barely multitask properly without its launcher having to redraw after a bit of moderate use, it's a typical Sony/SE thing, even the Z is showing signs of this, Sony are pretty bad at optimizing their UI for the hardware, it's no secret so you coming here and trying to say an Xperia T is more smooth and functional than a GS3 ,is absolutely laughable, I know desperation makes people say silly things but c'mon mate, that was a little bit of a stretch, don't you think?

@the guy that got offended when I called him the other guy last time
That's not from what I've seen in real life and on comparisons. Sony are known for squeezing the best out of their hardware, and they had similar hardware to the US GS3 variant, and in benchmarks, which are the worst at telling the truth, it kept up with 2 cores compared to the international quad version. You are the one that is in denial. Laugh all you
want, it seems you are blind to all the other Android OEMs.
And you're the only person I know of who judges the potential of a phone on its early prototype firmware.
Anyhow, care to point me to a few videos where this happens? On one of the later 'prototypes', the ones which are the closest to the ones hitting stores.
